Fit for purpose for not much money
Exactly as I expected. I expected reasonable quality, based on what I was paying for 6 pairs of plugs, and that's exactly what I got. If I'd wanted QED quality or the equivalent, I'd've expected to pay considerably more. The cases unscrew easily, and when screwed back, as tight as your fingers will do it without forcing anything, they stay on. In contrast, I have some metal ones that look flashier and cost more several years ago from a hifi shop but the covers come loose. So that's a plus for these ones.I am using them with QED Original cable, which is multi-stranded and surprisingly thick, twisted tight for insertion into the plug. The two screws hold the cable securely in place. The casing, by being not smooth, is very easy to grip, and makes for easy insertion and extraction, and is long enough to cover any bare cable if you have stripped off too much outer sleeve The plugs are a neat fit into the sockets of my Denon amp ie they fit tighly and stay in place and give good contact. These plugs have no discernible effect on the sound, no audible difference between without the plugs and with them. Whish is exactly what I want, with the advantage that once the cable is secure within the plug it will not get mangled and chewed when I need to disconnect and reconnect.Would I buy this product again? Yes, for doing the same job, and I would be happy to use these with more expensive cable.Suitable for bi-wiring? No, because there is not enough space within the screw-on outer casing to take two cables, even if they would fit within the inner. (But suitable ones are not hard to find).

Great value, stiff red connectors.
These are really easy to attach To the speaker cable. Great the way the surround is part of the assembly rather than separate to be slipped over the cable first. Now this comment may vary by speaker type, but the red plugs were very stiff to insert in the sockets. Every one. Black were just right. However, that design may be for a better power connection on red. At first I thought I had bought the wrong type and didn’t want to force it, but I initially I had a spare speaker as I bought a better quality centre speaker. So I put a ski glove on and pushed really, really hard at risk of damaging the socket. The glove stopped the hurt, and it slipped in. Once in it could be removed and inserted more easily, sans glove. I just applied much more pressure for the remaining plugs. Sound quality is faultless, but I guess that’s the sum of the parts, and the effectiveness of my ears! Although the Denon had no issues either.

Poor quality, feel light, do not stay tightened, one screw was missing, avoid
I was quite disappointed with these banana plugs as they get good reviews. The ones I ordered felt very flimsy and light weight (much lighter than the similar looking monoprice versions also purchased from amazon). The speaker pin is only screwed into the base and keeps coming loose (although this could probably be solved with a dab of glue or solder) and it was a bit more fiddly to get the speaker wire attached, plus the plug barrel also keeps coming loose resulting in the speaker wire coming out. I would definitely say, avoid! Having said that, I am still using the plugs and the sound quality isn't noticeably reduced so not completely worthless. But I will be looking to replace them when I next order some banana plugs!

Pretty good
There was a little inconsistency in the depth of the screw slots. One of the screws was tricky to undo, another really difficult - which wouldn't have mattered too much but I was wiring three speakers so needed all 12 to work. I used 2.5 sq mm speaker wire and it fit with room to spare. The wire is held in place by two grub screws. The sleeve unscrews over the plug end rather than the wire end so no problems about forgetting to slip the sleeve onto the wire before attaching the wire to the plug. They were a really tight fit into the speaker terminals and the amp terminals - so much so that the back plate of the amp flexed a little with the force I needed to push them home. This is the first time I've used banana plugs so I don't know if this is normal. However, it did give me confidence that they would be making good electrical contact. Certainly the speakers sound perfect so these plugs do work a treat once everything is connected up.

best banana plugs out there
Well made, easy to attach. The price paid was pretty good and the quality is very good. Because the plug is flared it is just a bit difficult to plug it into a speaker, just push slightly harder but that assures a tight connection for good sound. I am impressed how easy it is to connect to the wires. A two set-screw connection and then put the sleeve over it all, screw into place and it is finished. It took me about 30 seconds to connect each one to the wire. Well done!

Superb Qualityy and a Bargain Price
I've just made myself up some speaker cables with banana plugs at one end and spade connections at the other. These connections are extremely well made and definitely look fantastic! The design is easy to use, and the cable is secured by a double opposing screw arrangement that will ensure the cable never comes loose. These knock spots over any other make of banana plug I have used in every way!I've wired up my sepakers and have to say they sound fantastic!Highly recommended indeed!

Ok but poor quality printing and not good for thick cable
These plugs unfortunately seem poor quality. The branding print on the outside rubbed off straight away just holding them whilst fitting to the cable. They are too small for thick solid core cables but would probably work fine for standard cables. The grub screws stand proud of the plug and mean that you can't screw the cover back over if the cable is too thick.Once screwed in they hold the cable well.

but it looks cool. Check out Z reviews videos
Can fit 2 x 4mm cable in if you file down the screws. You don't need 2 x 4mm cable for short runs, but it looks cool. Check out Z reviews videos.
