can it be worn under a shirt?

I did wear it under a shirt and with my pants over the lower portion of the back. However, this unit comes with a somewhat bulky lumbar piece that can be removed. Please understand this! A back brace is to be used as a "preventative" device and or a "recouperative" protector. Wear it to prevent injury, i.e, heavy lifting, If injured and intending to wear it to releave pain, do so with limitation. The reason is that the affected area muscles become dependent on the brace whereas theraputic (therapy) exercise eventually should help restore the affected area support muscles. Hope this helps as I use mine frequently while doing yard work or the activities that might affect my lumbar disc that gives me fits from time to time.

What is the plus size??? XXL or XXXL????

Plus size is..pretty huge. My brother has a 48 inch waist and he has more than enough room. So its about a 3 or 4 x.

The quality is okay, but it is not the best brand. If you want a big brand and a suitable price, I recommend you to ZSZBACE. COM. I bought it. The Lumbar Supports quality is indeed much better, And it's discounting now
