the diameter of the barb opening is 3/16 which is pretty small and doesn't give me the quick acting reference ...
Even though it's for a 6mm (~1/4") hose, the diameter of the barb opening is 3/16 which is pretty small and doesn't give me the quick acting reference pressure needed. Even Tial recommends a minimum 1/4" hose, so it's counterproductive to sell a fitting that's smaller. Had to return. I'm sure it would have worked okay for wastegate, but I was using this for BOV. I used a 1/8" NPT x 3/8" Barb fitting with a 3/8" vacuum line to get a very quick acting BOV now.
