Great for all ages and in any type of financial state
If you're looking for a simple and effective way to get your financial life in check, this is for you. Whether you're older or middle-aged or a youngster starting out in the world of credit and financial stability, this will be the book that will get you there. I've definitely had my financial heartaches over the years, and this would've been awesome to have. The guidance on insurance is really a must, especially for the young people. I lost my husband at a very young age and we had no life insurance which put me in position to file bankruptcy. Yes, I made it through and rebuilt my credit, but life sure could've been easier had I taken some steps of stability early on. A great read and easily understood.

Pretty good!
I appreciate some thoughtful and insightful descriptions of increasing and managing debt and net worth. It would have been nice to have fuller explanations from further research, but very well written! Thanks!

Book is based on opinions
While there is some decent information in the book, it's mostly based on opinions and selective math that only tells one side of the story. There are a lot of one size fits all "you ought' and "you should".In my opinion the book lacks in teaching people the one basic premise which is control of your money. For instance it states to only get a 15 year mortgage, forcing the homeowners into larger payments which will be the same month after months regardless of payment amount. Why not suggest getting the 30 year mortgage and making the 15 year payment to achieve the same result. This allows control if you need to drop your monthly payment down to the 30 year rate without having to contact the bank. There are several other incidents in which this is the case.Who is this book for...Anyone completely lost in their finances or just starting their financial journey. Just remember to be a student and not a follower.Who should pass it by....Anyone who has read Dave Ramsey or followed him for more than a month. This book is a shortened version of Dave's principles with a few added components. In summary, there is a lot of decent information in this book, most of it I agree with. The reasoning and logic behind it is biased and could cause faulty thinking impacting future decisions in an unintended way.If you read this book look at both sides and don't take what the author says at face value. I guess that statement could be made for any book, but it definitely applies here

Helpful book from an incredibly wise and intellegent person.
I've racked up way too much debt over the years. While there is a lot of information available for free online, what the author does is provide an abundance of concise material that paves the way to becoming debt free. For the very low price of this Kindle book I have gained an amazingly helpful guide that offers me hope to succeed in my plans to pay off all of my debts. Not only that, but the author provides other helpful links and information if you choose to receive it. I sent the author a couple of e-mails and she replied in kind. The author is a terrific teacher who truly cares about her students. If you are in search of helpful information in order to become debt free, then get this book.
