This pizza stone is well worth the money not mention the warranty. The industrial description is accurate. This is the heavy duty pizza stone of pizza stones. We have always doctored up frozen pizzas with more toppings and seasoning, making them by far better than cooked right out of the box. We then tried using the stone on our gas grill to cook one of our frozen pizza creations. What an amazing difference. The crust was perfect and the flavor of the seasoned grill baked right into the pizza. We also tried cooking a pizza from scratch on the stone. Again we couldn't get over the difference it made in the quality of the pizza. We would be hard pressed to justify going out for pizza; when cooking at home on the stone turns out pizza this good. Some things to remember: The size and shape of the grill hood has a lot to do with how the top of the pizza turns out. The larger the hood the slower the topping ingredients will cook especially when outdoor temperatures are cooler. Try to maintain the temperature at about 400 to 425 degrees for 20 to 30 minuets. The pizza stone will do it's job, but keep a check on the crust bottom and adjust temperature as needed while the cheese melts, so the crust doesn't get over crisp.
