I've been using this product 3x daily for about a month (3wks). I was a little hesitant to buy it because some of the reviews act like this is puke-inducing stuff. It does taste salty and takes a little getting used to, esp. if you are transitioning to this from OTC toothpaste (like I was). But after you get used to the saltiness, it is actually wonderfully minty and pleasant to brush with! I read other reviews that mentioned the impracticality of trying to dispense it from the plastic bottle it comes in, so I just went ahead and transferred it to a clean, empty glass spice jar. It works so much better for pouring into my hand and dipping my toothbrush in, or dipping into the jar (although that's probably a bit messier). I recently had a dental cleaning and exam, and the dentist complimented me on how clean and healthy my teeth looked (and I'm someone who struggles with cavities). My mouth feels very fresh after I brush with this, and my teeth feel squeaky clean! With how frequently I use it, I'm pleasantly surprised by how it's lasted--I have about 2/3-1/2 of the container to go. A little goes a long way--one dip of my brush will be enough to clean my whole mouth. Overall, very happy with how well this cleans my teeth and gums, and probably going to buy the larger size next time to refill my little jar!

This product helps to whiten teeth, has a fresh taste, and my gums are healthier using it - this was a reorder item.

I've tried many of Uncle Harry's dental products and I love them. The key to the effectiveness of these products is that they do not contain fluoride. If you have dental issues you can be sure that they are due to your use of fluoride. Fluoride destroys tooth enamel. Discontinue your use of fluoride and your issues will disappear. Tooth enamel absolutely does grow back contrary to what we are told. Dentists are ignorant of this fact. If you dare to contradict them they shut you down. I stopped using any and all products containing fluoride a year ago and my teeth have never looked or felt better. The last time I saw a dentist was five years ago. My dentist told me that on my next visit he was going to "pull one of my teeth"...out of my head! How ridiculous is that?! I never went back and I haven't had any issues with the tooth either. If you disagree with dentists or question them they become aggressive and angry. I disagreed with my dentist and took matters into my own hands and have been researching the dental industry and their misinformation ever since. If you have dental issues or pain just stop using fluoride. Give it a few weeks or a month and you'll start seeing results. Your teeth will heal themselves if you stop poisoning them with fluoride (the active ingredient in rat poison)

When I ordered this originally, it came with the tamper seal ripped off, but I was able to return and exchange for a new one relatively easily and quickly.I started using this after trying Uncle Harry's toothpaste. I think I do prefer the tooth powder.The tooth powder doesn't feel as strong and overpowering as the toothpaste, but it still packs a good punch. It's so refreshing to brush with this, it instantly freshens my breath. I do think I've had much less plaque build up when using the tooth powder, it has a good abrasive feel.The taste is "salty" if you're not used to it, but it's much more of a minty flavor.Other toothpastes taste overly sweet now.

I like this tooth powder. I alternate it with a toothpaste. The ingredients are good, and teeth feel extra clean. Goes along way so a good value. Will buy again. I like this brand in other products too.

It truly feels like a deep cleaning of my teeth. I like that it re-mineralizes the teeth. I will keep using this product.

The cleanest teeth I've ever had and wonderful check ups at the Dental office. I warn you - at first the taste is very strong - pour a bit into the palm of one hand and wet your toothbrush - taking powder from your other palm. I honestly thought "Why did I ever buy this stuff?" I'm on my 4th container!! I use paste and it just seems to not do the work almost feels like it leaves a residue now......this stuff is amazing! I've even bought Colgate powder - although my teeth feel clean - they just don't feel as clean as Uncle Harry's.

I have used the regular tooth powder for year's as I sold it in the health food store where I once worked. We couldn't keep it on the shelf! I ordered this one thinking it is the regular one and as someone else pointed out, I received the unscented tooth powder. The product description and photos clearly state that this is suppose to have essential oils in it. *sigh* I almost purchased Frau Fowler's Tooth powder and chose this one instead. I wish I had followed my gut to avoid this situation. So disappointed. The product is fabulous if you get the one you want. They either need to change the product description and photos or change the slotting of the product in the warehouse.
