The quality is amazing for being a plastic instrument. It feels very sturdy but it’s lightweight enough that I can hold it comfortably for hours. Which is good because you won’t want to put it down! The case is very nice and the little accessories work very well. The extra lip plate works very well not just for when you’re too lazy to have good posture but it helps when you want to quickly practice some fingerings without trying to make too much sound. The only con is they don’t explain how to remove the key cap extensions so be very careful. The A & G caps simply slide to the left and detach, DONT try to snap them off. And the G# extension has a little notch that locks it in place, simply lift the little arm on it and it’ll slide off. I tried to include a picture to show what I mean. Also it would be nice if they had included some extra black silicone caps because once you take off the extensions there’s nothing to cover the keys with. Overall I’m in love with this flute and would recommend it to everyone. P.S I also bought the upgrade kit which is why I showed the second lip plate on the straight head joint. I use it with my students all the time. Their innovative head joint is such a game changer for younger players and even older players. It turns what I consider to be the most frustrating instrument into a simple 4 step process. I have the toot and the jflute conversion and it’s just great. Especially with how expensive flutes can be and how hard it is to find a good used flute that doesn’t need pad replacement, it’s just a no brainer.
