Worked on my 2009 Chevy Tahoe LTZ 2WD
Replaced these in 2021 with parts that came in a Detroit Axel front end kit. Parts were installed at a shop so I’m not sure if they were torqued correctly. Roughly two years ago I started to notice a squeak when ever I went over speed bump or on rough roads. As time went on the squeak got louder. Started to notice it when I got in the truck or with the slightest turn of the steering wheel. I noticed it when I was breaking in normal stop and go traffic. I have Power Stop slotted and drilled rotors and high performance pads so I figured that was the cause of the “new” squeak. Ordered new pads but have been waiting on rotors. Man am I glad I didn’t have the brakes replaced! I installed these in about 45 minutes and didn’t have to jack up the vehicle or even take off the tires. I was able to just rotate the wheels to the far left and right to access the bushings. The only difficulty came with getting the nut to thread with the new hardware installed. I found the best way to get them on was to assemble both sides leaving the top bushing out, and used the old washers to torque down one side to pull the stabilizer bar into place. I was then able to fully assemble the other side. Torque it to spec and then fully assemble the other side. 15mm wrench and socket had a little play so I used 9/16. Test drove the truck over multiple speed bumps and not a sound. Quiet when I get in the truck and no more brake squeal. Amazed that these little bushings were causing all of those issues. Added bonus: steering is much tighter. I guess I didn’t notice how much it loosened up over time.

Great Stabilizer Bar End Link Replacement for 2007-2014 Chevy Tahoe
These ACDelco 45G0002 Sway (Stabilizer) Bar End links provided a good replacement for the original factory-installed OEM version that had corroded and began disintegrate over time on a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Replacement was very easy for a beginner, particularly if you leave the vehicle in the exact same position between uninstall and reinstall periods. I had some metal primer spray paint and blue metallic paint laying around so I sprayed the spacers between each link as well as the sway bar primarily to prevent corrosion but also for a pop of color. After installing the rubber pads, washsers, and spacer on the end link, there wasn't enough threading to screw the end nut on, even after compressing all the pieces together. I ended up using a jack to compress it just enough for the nut to catch the threading on the long bolt. It worked but was a bit of a hassle. I dropped one star on the end link for it being shorter than the OEM version and making it a difficult to install. Since I was removing the end links I figured I might as well replace the bushings as well, since I was approaching 100K miles. I choose the Moog K200222 Bushing Kit, which worked out great. The bushing kits appeared too tall initially but once they are bolted down, they compress and seat flush against the frame, just as the OEM version did previously.

Excellent replacement part better than OEM
This is what the truck should have had from the factory. Better product compared with the OEM version which was broken plastic. Not the easiest install because it wasn’t on a lift but anyone can do this. OEM took a 15mm socket and box end wrench. The new A/C Delco replacement required a 14mm socket and box end wrench. I used some spray lube on the old threads before removal. I had to pry the sway bar down to get the new nut to thread on the bolt using a 2x4. From what I can tell, it’s supposed to be tightened to 17 ft pounds of torque. I’ll recheck my torque in a week. I’m very pleased with the results. Update: this front sway bar link has performed perfectly. I have a highway hard right hand merge on my daily commute and I can take it at 50 mph (speed limit) without concerns. I’m sure my aftermarket Hellwig rear sway bar helps but I could tell a difference as soon as I replaced the factory links up front.
