Easy assembly
Excellent shoe storage and really easy to put together!

Pleasantly Surprised!
I was so tired of having running shoes, boots, Nike slides, ect.. gathering at the entryway and having to step over them coming up from the basement. Ideally, we want to have a shoe storage made out of wood, but until then this affordable piece should help. ( $25 is reasonable vs $200.00!) I'm over 50 and it was really easy to put together. The English language in the directions were a hoot, but you don't need them luckily. It slides together easily by pushing the 3 different size metal bars into the plastic corner brackets, along with sliding on the plastic/fabric base. It did take about 1 hr. to put together The unit is really light. Potentially a little toddler could pull it over, or perhaps a dog pulling out a shoe...otherwise the frame is sturdy and easily holds 2 -3 pairs of shoes on a row. We will see how the fabric bases last. I'm not as worried about those, thinking that I could sew new canvas type fabric if needed.

It seemed flimsy when I got it
This unit appears very flimsy when you get it. The box it comes in is small and light. When I tried to put the first cloth shelf in, it tore in half. I was doing it wrong. Also, the instructions are some of the worst I have seen. Better written instructions would help a ton. The correct way to put it together is to thread the long tube in back, put on two corner plastic pieces, and then connect two medium length poles into the corner plastic piece you just connected to the back pole. Cloth goes shiny side up. Connect two plastic corner pieces on the end of the medium-sized tube. Next, thread another long pole through the front of the shelf, and then connect one end to a medium pole and then the other end to the other plastic piece. This way you will not rip the cloth. There are four legs that look like little cups, that are not mentioned anywhere in the instructions,Pros: Once it is together it is sturdy and solid. I think it will work well. It is light. I put it together in one room and could carry it with one hand to another room. It looks like the cloth shelf will hold up (it is like a tarp type of cloth). Finally, it looks decent.Cons: Poor instructions. The cover feels cheap. It appears flimsy at first, but once together it is better.

no ma'am!!
Sometimes no matter what order you uploaded pics to a review, they get jumbled! Pic of 2 shoes racks: rack in foreground (lighter gray cover) is one sold by this seller Pengke THAT I BOUGHT IN 2020. Detailed pics of assembled rack with shoes on it are all the 2020 rack. Very well made. Powder coated metal connector bars, solid white plastic connectors, good zipper, fabric coated shelf material. BUT NONE OF THAT IS THE SAME ANY MORE!!! Needed to add another shoe rack so I thought why not re-order from Pengke? Big mistake!! If you look at other customers review pics for this item it looks like sometime after October of 2022 Pengke switched and started using really crap materials instead. The 2 pics of just the parts are what I just received, having made the mistake of re-ordering in 2023. Thin, cheap aluminum rods (absolutely not steel alloy) that will surely bend/fail in no time and are no longer powder-coated, thinner-than-paper (actually so thin you can see through it!) shelf "material" very shiny and plastic-y too and super soft squishy white plastic connectors that will likely also fail/crack/break if you sneeze on them. Oh, and I can't speak about what the dust cover's like now being as it was missing from the box! Returned this item within an hour of it being delivered - hard pass on this - and shame on Pengke for deciding to switch to really really cheap materials, all while using their old product shots from when this shoe rack was worth it. BTW, the other assembled rack in the pic (in the background, darker gray cover) is from Blissun. Great quality in 2020 when I bought that one too. No idea if it's still the same and didn't consider it this time around because I needed a smaller size shoe rack & they don't make one in the size I need.

It’s decent-ish for the price
If you’re looking for quality, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for “in a pinch”, this is for you.Let me start by saying I’m not a shoe connoisseur, and was not looking for some amazing furniture quality shoe rack. I purchased this because it was the cheapest for its size, and was fine with subpar quality. My expectations were met, but far from exceeded. Read through the instructions in the pic and you may get a good idea. The building process was pretty self explanatory, but a bit tedious. Absolutely nothing comes preassembled and the product is prone to damage due to poor packaging. In my case, only one of the poles was dented/bent. I was questioning if I even wanted to continue putting it together after the first two steps, because I thought there’d be no way this would be reliably sturdy. After completing though, I was quite surprised. As long as you take your time and adjust as you go, the final product is definitely sturdy. Use gloves or a rubber mallet to assemble or about halfway through you’ll be bleeding like me.The biggest complaint of mine was the cover. It’s stitched together very poorly, and almost instantly began coming apart. I had to sew 3 different seams back together myself. Second day of owing it, and one of the zippers came completely stuck, and broke while trying to fix.All in all, it’s ok I guess. You get what you pay for. Like I said, if you’re looking for quality, look elsewhere, but in my case this is pretty much what I expected so I’ll be keeping it.
