Made in the USA these Anglo-American Airport braces are quality assured and 100% robust This range of 27 designs all feature 1.5" ( 38mm) wide straps for greater strength and comfort The heavy duty plastic clips give a real secure grip which are compliant with airport security so no need to remove the braces at metal scanners at security check points. A double leather crossover patch at the back. The 48" 122cm (unstretched) straps are elasticated and are fully adjustable so one size fits all from small to tall or fat to thin This listing also contains the undergarment braces with the same plastic clips. They are designed to be worn next to the skin so have the soft feel fabric attached They are a natural colour to make them less visible through clothing. These can also be washed at 30 deg. They make a fantastic gift or why not treat yourself

Nice wide straps and plastic clips which are more comfortable than metal.
Bought for my husband who was finding metal clips on other braces uncomfortable. These are better in that respect but the downside is that the adjustment sliders don't stay in place so the straps gradually lengthen during wear and have to be tightened up.

Good product but no warranty
3 stars are based on the fact that only M.K.TOOLS LTD seem to be selling them, otherwise I would have rated them higher.I purchased these for work because exposed metal is not allowed on the assembly floor. They did the job nicely but be aware that the hinge pins are aluminium. After 10 months one of the hinge pins broke so I asked the seller ( M.K.TOOLS LTD ) about the warranty but said that I would be happy with a replacement pin. They simply replied"....unfortunately they are not under warranty and replacement pins are not available."I then asked what the warranty was as I was concidering purchasing them again. They replied"due to the price and nature of the product being an item of clothing we feel this is reasonably within fair wear and tear of the product at £11.99 including postage. However if you feel this is not reasonable. please see the comment below from Trading standards. -You can ask a customer to prove an item was faulty when they bought it if they ask for a repair or replacement after 6 months.-"It is my belief that the warranty is quite likely a year at least but M.K.TOOLS LTD does not intend to honour the warranty. Otherwise why would they be so defensive when asked a reasonable question? In short: Reasonably good product but dodgy seller

Nice product, however leaves stain on shirt
The product is nice and looks cool (I ordered the one which looks like a measure tape). It fits well. The clips are quite big, which I did not pick up on the photos, as thre are quite many different versions available. The yello color leave stain so I would recomment to use it only over dark cloths.

Probably more trouble than they are worth
Issues I would mention with these Anglo-American airport braces from MK Tools are the protruding clips, not particularly discrete through customs and so likely to draw attention at airport security, nor indeed comfy against other clothing or objects in contact, the willingness of those clips to be caught and opened against furniture such as hard backed chairs when sitting down or arising and a query as to whether the pretty big metal pins are indeed scanner-invisible. Those pins may be aluminium rather than steel, if so they may be less visible to airport scanners - it's unclear that when I sounded an alert going through the scanner whether it was the braces. On the positive side, the chosen colour is pleasant, the clips seem durable and the stitching of the clips is welded in place, so preventing the clips unstitching. All in all these braces are probably more trouble than they are worth and I an not likely to keep them. Because I bought them about 3 months before my trip in getting everything ready, and put them away ready for flying away, the seller has not been minded to do more on my return than tell his supplier, the manufacturer of these problems. I think some others have already also reported similar issues.

Promising start but they broke in the end
I have to start by saying these are really good braces. I used them pretty much every day from the time I bought them. They are especially handy for going through airports because you don;t have to take them off when going through security. But in the end one of the pins in the clip that fixes them to the trousers just sheered off and made them unusable. After only a year of wearing them this is disappointing, although maybe the makers think you'll only wear them when travelling by air.

Great - so far!
I wear trouser braces all the time. At airport security it is sometimes difficult to remove them, and more to redress. Assuming security will accept these will be a blessing. Only bought 2 weeks ago but they are broad, comfortable straps and strong. The clips hold well. After further testing I will probably buy again in a different colour.

Not as good as the last pair
Have had a pair for a couple of years with no problem, but this new pair only lasted a couple of months before the plastic clips broke. The 3 stars rating includes the last pair and the length of time they lasted

but on the otherhand they are easy to adjust
As stated before, the buckles are quite large but seem to grip well, the only slight drawback is that the adjustors tend to loosen off at present, as the material is new and smooth, but on the otherhand they are easy to adjust. Otherwise comfortable and good for those with nickle intolerence .
