great with thorns
absolutely love these. I use them all the time in the garden and they're showing no signs of wear or tear yet. They're great for gripping stubbon weeds so you can really pull them up from the root. They also do a good job with brambles, so you don't get thorns stuck in you. I live by the river and they get wet regularly and covered in nettles / brambles and they're still in mint condition after several months. Great price too.

Pack of 2 does not mean 2 pairs...
I like the gloves, they suit the purpose that I bought them for, but when I was selecting them on the Amazon page, they were represented as 'Pack of 2', which I thought meant a pack of 2 pairs of gloves. Silly me. It actually means pack of 2 individual gloves. Thankfully these were a left hand and a right hand, though. So did make 1 pair.

Excellent dexterity with good waterproof features
I bought these gloves for working in the garden when I need a lot of dexterity with a degree of protection against cold, wet hands. When I’m harvesting winter veg in the rain, for example, the gloves allow me to strip damaged leaves and wet soil away while my hands stay dry and therefore warmed. These are not gloves to warm your hands. That is not their purpose. However, they do help your hands stay warmer because they keep them dry. I can see me using these gloves when sowing seeds and pricking out seedlings in the spring too. Soil and compost dry my hands out. I bought small and they are a perfect fit, which is unusual because I have very small hands. I am delighted with these gloves. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that I can’t get comment on their longevity as I’ve only just bought them.

Love these gloves
Fantastic gloves for gardening. Really tough and offer great protection from stingy plants. After a wee while they do smell a bit but it doesn’t bother me as used only for gardening.

Snug fit until worn for a while.
Used for gardening in particular handling fertilizer / compost and weeding in damp conditions. Unlike other general use gardening gloves these fit snugly to enable a better feel. It should be noted only the palms are waterproof so not suitable for immersing in water. My hand size is a 9/L which is normally roomy depending on make. These gloves in this size are snug/ tight to begin with but stretch to give a comfortable neat fit. Would buy again. Only gave 4 star for durability as will need to use them for at least a year before giving a proper rating. Update 25th Sep. Gloves showing wear between thumb and finger so would reduce rating to 3 as my Showa gloves give several years of use before needing replacing. Update 22 Sep. 2021 gloves now a comfy close fit after a year's use and have not deteriorated as much as expected. Should get another year out of them.

Great gloves but be aware of size
The only reason for the 4 stars is due to sizing. After reading other reviews I decided to buy a size M as it appeared that the design tends to be rather small. The gloves seemed great; thin, yet durable material. However, even the medium size was way too small for me.I returned them and got refunded straight away.
