Best high quality rack mount surge supressor
This is an excellent rack mount surge supressor. High quality build. I use 2 of these for my front of house live audio system with a console, wireless mics, iem and antenna systems. I also use this for my lighting rig controller which is computer driven via artnet to dmx. Best product on the market for sensitive electronics!

Good price, good product, poor packaging
The price is good, the amount of outlets and Joule protection are good too, unfortunately my unit arrived with one of the rack mounting tabs warped out of shape. The box it came in is extremely flimsy, I was lucky it was packed into another box with something else I ordered because this box on it's own would have not survived the shipping. I can see where the original box was damaged causing the mount to be bent. All outlets work though I have not had a chance to test them with a ground meter yet. A few screws and bolts for mounting would have been nice but these are not included. The design is fairly solid, it's metal but a soft metal that allows bending of the mounting tabs pretty easy (so I was able to bend it back the way it should be with my hands). The spacing between the outlets on the back is great for use with adapters (routers, firewalls, weird shaped plugs). The power button is covered with a plastic cover. While a nice touch, it seems like it was not part of the original design and slapped on afterwards. It's very thin so probably won't survive very long if you use it often. It also makes the overall design look cheap as it really takes away from the solid matte black design. The 3 LED lights (Power, Ground, Surge // Orange, Green, Red) are nice but the power LED is ridiculously bright!! The Ground and Surge LED's are a subtle matte glow but the Power LED can light up a small room (I tested this). There is no reason for it to be this bright specially since the power button itself has an LED in it too.I'll adjust this review once I test every outlet with a ground meter and a heavy load. Overall it will do what it needs to do, is very compact (depth) and the long (thick and sturdy) power cord is nice too. Packaging needs to be addressed as does the choice in Power LED.Update: Went from a 3 star to a 4 star rating. Started a chat with Amazon to say the unit was damaged. I was offered a replacement unit or a $10 partial refund. I went for the $10 to save me the hassle. This now made the product/price more awesome so I recommend contacting Amazon support if your unit arrives (or has arrived) damaged. Smooth support from Amazon.

Good to have the tangle gone
I've been putting off installing a real power strip on my server rack because thing have slowly migrated from the desktop where they were already plugged into surge suppressors, so the surge suppressors have just sort of followed them into the rack. I finally got sick of the tangle of chords and installed this power strip. It has a really nice combination of plugs and spacings that really clean up the back of the rack from the previous tangle. The plugs are spaced wide enough for things like the cable modem brick that takes up way more space than it rationally should, while still providing enough plugs for all my equipment. Its a good combination. This power strip has worked well. It hasn't been tested by a surge yet (or hopefully ever), but it seems to be doing the job quite nicely. The only thing that would have been a really nice addition would have been some bolts and nuts to attach it to the rack. I had enough from other projects laying around that it wasn't a big problem, but be forewarned, this does not come with screws, bolts, or nuts for mounting this into a rack.

Excellent affordable quality-made rack-mount power strip
Excellent rack mount power strip. I have a lot of equipment racks for live and studio use. I like to outfit every rack with a power strip rather than having a bunch of loose cables floating in the rear of the rack.I have a lot of power strips, by Furman, SG Weber, TrippLite, others and now these by Cyberpower.Personally I LOVE the long power input cable on the Cyberpower power strips, you can always make it shorter with wire ties. I like that I can move my gear into a venue, pull the back lids of the racks and every rack has it's own power cable that feeds to my central AC power distribution point (which also feeds the front of house mixer position for minimum ground loop potentials). They fit nicely in the rack, very heavy duty construction.FAVORITE FEATURE: The outlets on the rear are spaced very wide so you can easily plug in wall wart power supplies, I love a clean rack layout and this helps a lot. Keeping those wall warts as far away as possible from audio cables helps minimize induced noise.Fast delivery, quality construction, decent price, what is there to not like? I had to give them 5-stars, well done Cyberpower.

Buena Regleta.
