My daughter wanted to be a British Royal guard for a Girl Scout event representing the UK. So I got this hat and made a coat and pants for her. It made the outfit! Nice quality and stays upright. The hat fit me as well, so works for a teen/adult.

The chin strap is a little uncomfortable, but it's pretty sturdy and fits well.

We used this for a costume piece and it did great. Fit the teenagers head perfect and just needed a couple of bobby pins to add a little extra security (dance had a couple flips in it).

Fits need to figure out how to keep it flat instead of bent/folded.

I'm using this as basis for making a loose impression of one of Napoleon's Old Guard Grenadiers (like at Waterloo) for a theatrical event. By the time I have it all gussed out with cords, tassels, pom-poms, and a big plume, it should look pretty good from the stage. Much better than a similar product passing itself off as a British Grenadier hat (like at Buckingham palace), which was a useless waste of money. BTW, why this is described as "Costume Accessory Fireman Helmet Lights and Sound Siren, Red, One Size" makes no sense.
