These work exactly as intended. Some reviewers state "junk, the white cap comes off after crimping." My response to that is, yes it will happen if it's not crimped correctly. I experimented with several different crimper devises I use, and as long as it was crimped correctly, the cap stayed on tight. Make sure you have the correct amount of bare wire going completely into the crimp connector. On the ones that didn't get a good crimp, it was easy to pull the entire connector off or just the white cap alone. Make sure you have a quality set of crimpers. The ratcheting type are some of the best I have. There are several sizes of crimper jaws and patterns. I use the appropriate ones for each particular connector and you shouldn't have any problems. I won't use crimp connectors anywhere I need a good solid hard wire connection. I always solder and heat shrink most of my connections for that reason. They will not come loose when soldered. I do a lot of off-road lights, trailer lights/wiring and motorcycle wiring and have no returns coming back due to faulty repairs, crimps or solder jobs. Do it right the first time and you won't do it again!

These arrived quickly for my stereo install. Excellent value. As good or better than the 8 piece set I picked up at the local hardware store for $2.29. Pay attention to the sizes since they come in various sizes. Worked perfectly for car stereo install. And I still have a ton left over for future use.

These are very handy. In the past I used to either solder or twist and wrap with electrical tape. Soldering takes forever and wrapping with electrical tape just wasn't secure enough. These cut my install time drastically while providing a secure connection. I was installing an Alpine power pack to my head unit and had to maneuver the power pack around inside the dash to make it fit. The connections held true with these crimps. I used a standard wire cutter/crimp.

Look, for the price and quantity this a no brainer.These quality crimp caps, you get a 100 of them for $5. Try getting that kind of deal at your auto parts store.They would want to sell you maybe ten for $5.Anyways I have been using these for a few months and no problems. Good solid crimps.

I have worked in Automotive electronics for over 10 years and the best possible connection for wires is solder but the next best thing is Crimp Caps. They hold very securely and make a quick job of connecting wires, especially for audio work such as installing a car radio. They work best with a crimp tool designed for the task, such as the Klein Crimper tool Klein Tools 1005 9-3/4-Inch Crimping and Cutting Tool for Insulated and Non-Insulated TerminalsI would definitely recommend this product to anyone making wire connections in a vehicle of any kind. This connection when properly crimped simply will not fail. I haven't seen it once!

Crimp caps are now my preferred connectors for run-of-the-mill connections. In my opinion, you get a fantastic connection with these: a twist (which itself holds the wires together) and a nice solid one-point crimp.I've only tried the Install Bay crimp caps purchased from Amazon but I have found these to work great. Nice solid connections every time and they crimp easily.

Nice solid connection. I haven't had any issues with plastic breaking like some other reviewers. Pack comes with plenty to spare (for my stereo install) and don't take up too much space.

Bought these for some quick and dirty wiring but found them to be a lot better and faster than I thought. I am using a ratcheting professional crimper and the stranded wire I am crimping with these ends will break before they will pull out of the crimp cap. I also found they are marked with UL/cUL approval on the base. I like them so much I may just buy some for other wire gauges.
