Damila Repair & Shine Serum

Very good, it leaves my hair manageable, silky, and with a very rich aroma.

I am 69 years old and remember when Vitalis and Brylcreem were the go to products for men's hair. Yikes. They still sell that stuff. I have very fine hair that tends to look dull and wispy with nothing on it. I started growing it long again after many years. This serum gives my hair some additional body and shine without being heavy. I wash my hair everyday and apply about 10 squirts, the size of a quarter or so in the palm of my hand, when my hair is wet. It detangles my hair nicely and gives me more control without a greasy or oily feel. It penetrates the hair as well as the skin on my hands and seems to disappear. The fragrance is very pleasant and mild to me. My roommate is a "supertaster" and she thinks the smell is too strong, although she uses it occasionally. She says the smell dissipates fairly quickly. She has a very good sniffer and is quite sensitive to odors. I'm not allowed to cook chorizo when she is in the house. I am very happy to have discovered this product and NO, I haven't received any discount or freebie for my review. I will accept any discounts they wish to provide, however! I am on my 4th bottle and am ordering 2 more tonight.

I love this stuff! I used to use Kiwi Blowsilk until they stopped making it. It is hard to find a serum that isn’t heavy and greasy. I now will order 2 at a time because they run out so fast.

This was my first time buying this product, and so far I like it. I had to use quite a bit of it to achieve what I wanted, but my hair is colored, so it gets pretty dry. I didn't notice at first that I liked the smell, but when I woke up in the middle of night to use the restroom and noticed the smell, I loved it. It's not overpowering, but very pleasant.

Excellent to nourish hair between shampooing. Smells really good and has helped make my hair softer and shinier. I also like how it makes the skin on my hands feel.

First, it does work at providing shine and smoothing some frizz. However, I have to use a lot of it. I also have to apply it prior to drying and straightening my hair and then again when I finish. I'm not thrilled with putting that much silicone in my hair even if it looks nice. That just means more buildup. Plus, it does nothing to protect against humidity. I live near the Gulf coast...humidity is a constant factor. When we had some really dry, chilly days, no problem. But the moment it starts to warm up and the humidity picks back up, it's frizz city again.

Very disappointed the product spilled inside the bag and a lot of the product was gone. Do I get another one?
