Is this like the old drain care? I want to use it in the bathroom for the stench out of the overfill drain.

It seems to help with odor but not knowing what is causing your odor problem or how severe it is, I hesitate to say this product would be 100% effective on solving that problem. And I have no idea what “old drain care” is so I really don’t know.
