Kangol Men Bamboo 507

As the proud owner of several Kangol caps, I was keen to receive this model. I own a few bamboo related garments and am very pleased with the fabfic's durability and comfort. Knowing Kangol hats & caps can dramatically vary in size, I used the sizing chart to determine the proper size. I was at the high end of the medium spectrum and have a couple of the 504 style in large & medium and have found large in that style to be just a tad too big.I selected medium and was way off. This particular style, for me, needed to be a large. I typically wear a 7 1/8 baseball cap with very little hair to impede wearing the hat.I returned the medium and received the large size within two days of notifying Amazon of my intention to exchange the cap. It fits perfectly. I also wear my Kangols backwards about 50% of the time. I'm very pleased with the cap and my purchase experience.

I tried on the 504 in two sizes. The Medium was best for me. In the Bamboo 507 the Medium was way too small so I got a large and that works great. I also tried a few other Kangol styles and the Bamboo 507 is the clear winner. It's much more sleek to the head and compliments the shape of my head instead of looking like a big floppy hat sitting top of my head such as the 504. The 507 is the most modern sleek looking hat and I'm so glad I found the one that was perfect for me. Didn't matter that is was also the most expensive one when it looks that good. I bought both the Beige and the Black.

I've always been a huge fan of Kangol and now so is my bf. He is bald and his head sweats heavily when active or just plain old warm. The bamboo Kangol is not only made of bamboo but it is slightly vented so it keeps him cooler and much more dry. The material feels soft yet durable and he loves the classic black color. The size is a perfect fit as long as you make sure to measure yourself/person-recieving before ordering (if you guess or eyeball it you will mess up). I'm so impressed with it that I'll be getting myself one as well.

When I decided to pony up almost FIFTY BUCKS for a Kangol, I thought it would at least be a good fit. I measured carefully, went by the size chart and the hats i usually wear, and it's TOO LARGE! I look like a little kid wearing Daddy's hat! Of course I can't return it -- I've already had it on. So maybe, just maybe the wife can take the headband in a bit.

I have many many Kangols, I've been wearing them since I was 4yrs old.... Samuel L Jackson ain't got s*** on me lol, That being said, this 507 Bamboo is VERY far from being navy blue . It's a mild dark-ish purple & to be honest ,I was super disappointed. Guess I'll have to pull one of my dye jobs with some Rit so get it the right color. I am including 3 pics, one is my 75th Anniversary TRUE navy blue Kangol... The other is the "navy" 507 Bamboo.Kangol, from a true fan that's been with you guys 36yrs now (I'm 40) ... Get someone that's not color blind please & Thanks. I'm giving it 3 stars just because of the terrible color mistake .. Else than that, it fits true to size.Jerome@BeefyBeatsLlc

Although not a perfect fit, I am very happy with the purchase......I wear 7 1/8" this is just a tad bit larger than expected but I love it....this has Kangol in writing on the left side...not the traditional w/logo in back...it doesn't matter it's sharp. Update... some scumbag stole mine, I put on a winter hat before leaving work, left it behind in my shared office and I had to buy another- this time a medium, it fit snug and I won't make the same mistake x2

My husband loves it. I ordered a large at first and it was to big, so I had to reorder a medium. It fits him perfect and I had no trouble returning the first one. I will be ordering again from this company.

Got this as a gift for my husband. He'd asked for this style of hat and I was wary as I thought it wouldn't look great, but I love it on him! I'm ready to order it in more colors (I got the black). I ordered an XL as my husband is a big guy and wears the largest size of fitted baseball hats (an 8?). We both like that the Kangol logo is not prominent and is subtle on the side. Shipped great.

I love this hat, just make sure you measure your head correctly to get the best fit. Loads of videos on you tube of how to do this correctly. I’ve had loads of flat caps which are poorly made or just too hot in summer but this hat is light, is breathable and looks good. A winner!

Teamed with a nice Parker coat it looks really nice. Can't fault this style at all. Recommended!

Absolutely love the kangol 507 series, slick look with a good fit allowing you to feel comfortable walking out with it on.

Rear rise unusually high for Kangol hence a little loose on rear crown, otherwise a great looking summer cap in tan. Lightweight and partially see through so ideal for warmer weather.

Unfortunately after a few weeks of summer wear the back of the cap has stained badly.This is unusual as I have been wearing Kangol caps for 40 years!!

Superb hat well worth the £30 price tag snug fit, Kangol have made hats for years superb!!!

Es una buena gorra, muy ligera, que vale para el verano y también para primavera y otoño, siempre que no haga demasiado frío.Lo único malo, es que no se puede lavar en lavadora, y como han dicho en otro comentario, si se usa intensivamente para protegerse del sol, es cierto que pierde color en la zona de la visera.Aunque realmente no está diseñada para protegerse del sol durante largos periodos de tiempo, por lo que yo no consideraría esto que comento un problema.

I did have the Kangol size band which made choosing a size a breeze. Fits like a glove. Texture or pattern to material is a little more predominant than expected but still very happy. Shipped as promised, super fast and packaging was great , ensuring cap keep its shape.

While it is a bit tighter than my other, same sized Kangol, I'm hoping it strectches out a bit (and prolly will). And despite getting a sweet Amazon price discount, the quality is superb. The perfect colour, how it conforms to my biggish, bowling ball of a head, a solid yet breathable fabric and still manages to be comfortable despite not being stretched out yet. A very solid buy.
