Brundo Makulaya — Ethiopian Sautéing Spice Blend (2 oz) | All-Natural Seasoning for Wot, Pasta Sauce & Roasted Vegetables | Imported from Ethiopia | Non-GMO

Very delicious spice. It was my first time making ethiopian food and I sprinkled it while making gomen.

Makulays, saute spice mix absolutely I was amazed by the taste so authentic. You can use it for so many varieties of dishes. I even sprinkled this one on my tossed salad taste is amazing it would take you. I shared it for so many people I couldn't keep it to myself I also can't wait to try the other spices I applause the Ethiopian women thank you

I love cooking Ethiopian food and I usually purchase locally made spice mixes from Ethiopian grocers in my area. But I just moved to a part of the U.S. that has no Ethiopian groceries! The nearest one is 2 hours away. So I took a chance on Brundo's spice mixes and was not disappointed! Every one I purchased (there were 5) smelled and tasted fresh. I wasn't familiar with how makulaya is used beyond what Brundo says in their description, so I did what they suggested: used the makulaya to brown the onions. Oh... so good. The base was much more complex tasting than onions alone. I made an Ethiopian dinner for New Year's Day (siga wat, kik alicha, and gomen) and it was delicious. Now if only I could find injera...sigh.

Used to season some saute veggies. Tried this product on a whim and glad I did. Will purchase again and share with a friend.

I've used the spice in two dishes. Very tasty. Dark color was unexpected.

I cannot text to the taste because the bottle arrived unsealed. I could not use it because I don’t know who opened the product. Usually, the mouth of the jar is sealed with a cover that is under the screw on cap. No cap.. so this is worthless.

It smells great. Makes your mouth water. I cannot wait to use it

Love all the spices I’ve purchased from this seller
