Challenging to put up but very nice product
As others mentioned, putting this up is a bit challenging. We're older and not physically strong, but we were able to do it ourselves. It's just complicated and you must follow the instructions to the letter or else you end up having to undo what you did and re-do it. We put it on a patio under a deck and didn't have a lot of headroom to work with, which made it difficult to get the awning on, but that was just our situation. It would have been much easier if we'd put it on an open deck. One issue was the U tracks that attach to the house wall were just a bit too small for the screen wall to slide into, so they had to be bent out. Still couldn't get the screen wall in all the way. Also, do one rafter at a time, both ends for each one before moving to the next one, even though it seems easier to attach them all to the house first and then do the attachments to the screen wall all at once. Trust me on this.

LOVE THE SCREEN ROOM - NOT FOR AMATEURS TO ASSEMBLE!!
Purchased this a couple of months ago to add a nice screened space on my deck to my parked travel trailer. Although, it was set up near the end of the season I absolutely love it!!. With the trailer jacked up more to permit a correct roof pitch, we only had to then skirt in the bottom of the trailer and it has become a sealed off room for both vermin and mosquitos. Beware...It is not, as the instructions say, easy for 2 people to assemble!!!. My neighbours were able to install it for me (4 people in total) and 2 of them are experts at construction and master carpentry, and they even had to read and re-read the instructions with a few swear words and whoas! thrown in.A couple of areas that could be better designed/explained is the roof rafters. They require self tapping screws and do not menition this until you have the stucture almost erected. Easier to prepare the screws in the rafters prior to attaching to the walls and trailer. The instructions state to dismantle this room in the winter season (I am in Ontario Canada) as the awning cannot take a snow load. You certainly won't want to dismantle the whole thing. We didn't even completely take off the awning, we only rolled the awning back and onto the trailer roof, tarped and weighted it down and left the walls up. You see, year after year if you take the awning completely off, it will be harder and harder to thread into the c bracket as it will fill with gunk over the winter and you will just end up stressing the awning each spring installation. We have our fingers crossed but we do not get any strong winds and it should stay in place and then a good cleaning when rolled down over the rafters in the spring.I would recommend this to anyone with an open deck to a travel trailer. It is very well made, very sturdy and is a beautiful colour (chestnut brown and the almond coloured awning) Stunning! But be prepared to have more that 2 people helping and it would be a very wise idea to have a full tool set as there is some cutting, tapping screws etc. that the average person would have trouble with.On a side note. When it got cooler in the fall I actually installed/super glued little hooks along the top bracket and hung some simple gromet long curtains. The curtain trick offered privacy from my neighbours, stopped the rain from coming in sideways and made it very cozy to sit with a table top pot fire going. All my neighbours love it and a few have already ordered theirs to install in the spring.Yes, I love my new room and look forward to rolling the awning down in the spring!Cheers,Vickie

Horrible instructions but great once built.
Great enclosure once we got it put together. Instructions are horrible and need to be rewritten. We ended up having to scrap the instructions and attempt to make heads or tails of the parts on our own. Took us a whole day to build.

Fantastic! Great price, very delighted
We bought this to put up at our seasonal home at a campground. We have a 40 foot Park Model Home and everyone has the Patiomates there. We went to the local big box home improvement store and this item had to be special ordered which would take 3-6 weeks....and we're only half an hour away from the factory that makes them! They were charging over $1100 and $100 for delivery. We got it from Amazon for under $800, shipping was free with our prime membership and it was here in 4 days. We had it assembled and installed in a few hours and people have made so many comments about how great it looks. You can't beat this price, especially prime members.

This is the 3rd one I've owned in 15 ish ...
This is the 3rd one I've owned in 15 ish yrs. It never fails that parts are missing or damaged. It also never fails that the roof is so tight that it's hard to get it on and off the corners. Once this one goes, I think it's time to have a screen enclosure builtl

The measurements in the description are not accurate at all
Ridiculous. Looked at all the details provided in the description on Amazon. Checked the measurements on the house. According to the write up here on Amazon the height is 75 inches and adjustable. When the package arrives, the instructions with it say that it is very important for the height to be 91 inches and that is is only adjustable from 89 to 94. Damn that is a lot higher than 75 inches oh yeah and guess what it doesn't fit on my house!!!!!!!!!! Come on Amazon and Patio Mate get your descriptions together. Thanks a lot now I have to go through the hassle of returning a huge package and figuring that whole mess out. Really bad experience.
