No instructions on how to assemble!
There was absolutely no instructions on how to put this together, we had to go by the pictures that are online. Also, not enough bolts, luckily we have some. Be ready to put a wooden puzzle together.

Design could of been better
I wanted to like this more. In my head I imagined it to be easier to use. In reality, it's the clumsy child you really love but wishing it could of been better and smarter. I like that it can spin 360, but then one side knob would tighten itself so much that I broke a screwdriver trying to untighten the knob. Afterwards I found that if I held the legs down & turn the frame back the other way, the knob will untighten itself. Can someone come up with a design where if the side knobs were pushed in/out, the scroll frame would lock in place or spin freely? That would be great. When adjusting the height of the frame, I need to adjust each side separately until I get it to the position I want. I thought I could put a light fixture to the back beam, but no. That thing wiggles about if I need to adjust anything. Did I say the assembly instructions were terrible? I had to reference the photo of the frame many times before finally putting it together. There were many times I thought I was missing a screw or thought the wood pieces were cut to the wrong size, because some wouldn't fit properly. While using the frame, sometimes a knob would fall off. I still haven't figured out how to adjust it so the scroll frame will be smaller width-wise. Is this worth buying? I think so. It does help keep my cloth taunt and prevent wrinkles. I dislike circle hoops because it deforms the cloth. I also used bed sheet clamps on the sides to pull & hold the cloth. If you keep in mind all the little tricks while using this frame and know its limitations, then it is very useful. This is great for me, because I use it on my bed without need for a table. The price could be cheaper due to all the problems in the design.

Missing bolts
Challenging to assemble made worse by missing two 40 mm bolts. Bolt packet had only two and four were needed to assemble. Manufacturer assembly error. Must hunt for two bolts that will substitute. Common problem for decades. When will companies get it together on packaging for assembly?

Don’t buy this frame
One of the worst frames I have ever bought.Instrutions no good,it took two men to work it out over three hours. Very unstable when finished.Itwas over £70 pounds ,and I had treated myself.Veryupset.

Works great
This is my first frame and stand. It was a little fiddly to put together but not that hard. It does take a bit of getting use to, particularly managing the tightness of the bolts when spinning the frame. Other than that a great frame for stitching on the couch. Definitely recommend.
