Xamarin Essentials

As with most publications covering Xamarin stuff, it's pretty skimpy - not up to the in-depth details I would like to see covered. It's "okay".

This is a very good introduction for a Xamarin beginner like me. Get a clear concept of Xamarin and Android development, and by finish reading this book, I can successfully deployed a fully functional app that can measure the distance between two locations via Google Map function as well as taking photo to the location entry I set in my app.

An excellent review that goes well beyond the basics. If you are interested in programming with Xamarin, make this the first (and second) book you read.

This was not a good book for me, since I'm an experienced Xamarin developer. Like the other reviewer, it's too skimpy for me. If you are a manager with some programming background who wants to get up to speed on Xamarin, it's fine.
