I bought many encyclopedias to compare content and clarity. This was one of the best, for sure. Well structured, good explanations and nice photos. Comprei varios livros sobre este assunto e este com certeza é um dos melhores. A estrutura do livro é bem clara e as imagens muito bem feitas.

This book is great, it shows the history and development of firearms from muskets to modern rifles.

A great book to introduce new people to the extensive world of firearms. I think more seasoned people of the hobby will find this book basic. It does not dwelve deep into each arm history and features. It favors quantity over quality, which is perfect for new comers to the hobby or merely people who want to look at a lot of different weapons at the same place. Does a great job of condensing centuries of firearm development into one single book. Also includes a list of different firearms developed by nations, with pictures most of the time and description text. Good book, introduced me well into this hobby.
