Disappointed
I absolutely love the Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Basil dish soap, so I was excited to try the Basil candle. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. The scent was extremely weak. I could only smell it if I held it close to my face. Even then, it didn't have the fresh basil fragrance I was expecting. Instead, it reminded me more of a citronella candle than the clean, herbal scent I love from the dish soap. I was really disappointed and wouldn't purchase this candle again.

Love the candle but scent is a little off
I love the scent of their basil soap but I find that the candle is a little more earthy. It does burn pretty fast but you won’t lose scent after breaking through the top like most other big box store candles.

Crisp, fresh, and herbal! Long lasting 👍🏼
Basil is by far my favorite scent from Mrs. Meyers. I’ve probably gone through 20 of these candles, no joke. It smells crisp, fresh, and herbal, with heavy green notes and a light floral finish. It’s not at all powdery or sweet, and really fills up the room with fragrance. Even someone I live with that’s sensitive to fragrances doesn’t mind this candle. 🙌🏼 I always have Basil, Lavender, and Lemon Verbena on rotation in my house! Those three even work well together when lit at the same time. My only gripe is the cost... but they do last awhile (more so than Glade candles). Highly recommend! Thanks for reading! Smells nice, but short burn life
Smells just as fine as the soap, but note that since it is soy, its lifespan is shorter than most wax candles.
