Schallen Home & Office Electric 12" 3 Speed Electric Tilt Oscillating Worktop Desk Table Air Cooling Fan (Black)

With a budget fan, i am pretty pleased with how well it works! Yes it a little flimsy and made out of cheaper plastic, but the motor and the fan itself work great and it’s great oscillating around without much noise. Would recommend!

Ok so as someone who seems to go through a lot of fans (my son has an uncanny knack of breaking fans and tin openers 🤷🏻‍♀️) I wasn't really expecting to be impressed by this but I really am! We're in the midst of a heatwave here in Bonnie Scotland and my surviving pedestal fanup the loft so I ordered 2 of these for the bedrooms to help keep us and the dogs cool. They're very easy and straightforward to assemble, lightweight enough to easily move from room to room if required and quiet, so should be good for using at night without keeping me awake (I have ADHD and need a quiet room to sleep) I set mine up on the windowsill at the opened window to help circulate fresh air, put it on the lowest setting and pointed it over towards my bed, which is a fair distance away and where up until that point I'd been lying in a sweaty, melting mess, drinking ice cold juice to try and cool down whilst watching telly 🤣 Fast forward 15 minutes and I had to turn it off because I'd went from melting to death (seriously) to being genuinely baltic....I was considering getting under the covers and my skin was properly cold to the touch! 🤣 If that's how well it does on the lowest setting then it'd be like Siberia on the higher ones... amazing! If you want an easy to assemble, portable, powerful yet quiet fan.. this is the droid you are looking for! :)

A tiny bit fiddly to fit the cover on, but still easily assembled (the instructions weren’t necessary) and, so far, it works great! I have it in my bedroom, and it’s quiet (just white noise, and quieter than my other blade fan) and definitely keeps the room (average sized double bedroom) cool. Looks nice, too! I got the grey one, and it looks less like a cheap plastic fan than (I suspect) the white one would have looked, and it works well with my decor (& would probably fit into most decorating styles). Cooling effect: Keeps things cool even when I’ve had to close the window during a rainstorm. Power: Seems powerful for its size; even on the lowest setting it’s powerful, and the highest setting is quite a strong breeze! Good oscillation, too; 180° rotation and very smooth.

I love this new fan. It was well packaged. Easy to set up. It is quite big and has a powerful fan effect. Expect it to be noisy. I chose the grey colour, so glad I did. It was very useful in the recent heat wave (June ‘26).

Schallen Home & Office Electric 12" 3 Speed Desk Fan Item arrive promptly in suppliers packaging. Fan Inside had pieces wrapped in plastic bags tied with simple knots. After assembly the fan was started an the lowest speed setting. Describes as a desk fan, the lowest speed is in my opinion too fast, with it being impossible to use this on the desk you are seated at. I moved it to around 6 feet away and it was still to strong for conformable use. Yes the fan was three speed, but the function is poor as this is fast, and a little faster. Not slow to fast. The fan is noisy, and again not suitable as a desk fan in my opinion. I certainly could not sleep with this running in a bedroom. My unit also had a vibration due to the flimsy fan blade not being fully balanced. This added additional noise. My 'Black' unit is very shiny, and some parts feel flimsy. For example the vertical direction adjustment feels like it might break during any movement. As you might guess the unit was rejected for return within 5 Mins of testing. I would not recommend this unit.

Basic press the button and away we go! Highest setting is powerful enough. Noise level ok and value for money.

No problem with delivery and contents. The issue is that this needs assembling and the final stages are really fiddly. Fine if you are technically minded but if not, get yourself one that is an all in one model. However, once working, no complaints there.

Could have been better engineered for easy first time assembly but good value for money and speed number one is really good. No instructions needed but a couple of simple diagrams on the box would do it for me.

There was nothing provided to tighten the screw on the other side so the cover could not be attached.

Bought 3 weeks ago and worked initially, but started making some screeching noise during rotation which has gradually become worse. Noise prevents 6 month old baby from settling down to sleep especially in these heat.
