It’s pretty hard to review a pack of lint free rags that I use to apply wax finishes to wood, other than stating the do the job. Basically - they do the job - and they do it well! A kilo of rags lasts a decent amount of time and the rags can be cut down into smaller pieces to extend the longevity if needed. Lint free, so great for applying finishes and waxes to wood, and at a price point that can’t really be beat to be honest. It sound odd to say I’ve tried lint free rags from the bigger names, but I have and these are as good for a cheaper price - I’ve also tried lint rags from high street stores when in a bind, and again these best competitors for price any days of the week. I’m nearly running out now, so after writing this review, I’m going to buy some more! Really good product, and does the job.

Reviewed Jan 2021 Bought these to use for applying a clear finish and wanted to apply lots of very thin coats, so a 'wipe it on, wipe it off' approach. I'm actually applying Gorilla Glue as a final clear finish on fishing rods as it drys rock hard, but with some flex. Initially tried a very old, well worn t-shirt but was still getting bits in the finish. Did some research online and bought this as it ticked the boxes including next day delivery. A lot of lint free cloth seems to be for the nail polish application/removal, and seems to be tiny sizes and very thin. I wanted pieces of cloth I could double or triple layer, dribble on a few drips of the finish, and then rub it over the item I was finishing without any bits of fluff being left behind. This is just what I wanted. This comes in quite large sheets of cloth, which is just perfect for me, as I can cut to size, about 30 x 30 cm use it a couple of times and then throw away. If you want pre-cut, uniform sized pieces this is probably not the product for you. Will buy again when this has been used up.

The cloth arrived quickly and safely. I was surprised to find that the cloth was in two large pads rather than a bag of scraps. However this makes it easier to get a bit of cloth the size you need, just measure and cut. It is an excellent quality and very durable. Very useful for applying the stains and sealers, removing excess amounts and buffing the waxes. Overall very happy.

They're just rags right? That would often get you a mixed bag (pardon the pun) of results - here, you get a total of 12 large sheets of clean, lint free cotton in slightly varying thicknesses, varying in size from 60x70cm to 80x100cm. Happy with the purchase.

Lint free cloth certainly improved the finish on my woodturning. I suppose it just goes against the grain to have to buy rags.
