I bought a 620 gph 11' lift fountain pump at harbor for $40, tossed it in a 5 gallon bucket of ice water after hooking up this torches inlet line to it, ran the torch hot water return line back into the bucket, plugged it in, cranked up the welder to 225 ac and smashed the pedal through the floor on some 6061 5/8 plate first running a pass to preheat, then going back over the weld immediately to fuse adding filler and at that thick I moved slowly and only took enough time to reposition between welds. Not once did this torch even begin to get warm, kid you not a few times I thought it might be chilly but wasn't for sure with tig gloves on.
