There is no top and bottom on the filter. The ends look the same and even on the picture it looks the same. How do you tell?

I asked at pinch a penny a large pool store here in Florida they said it really doesn't matter. It is thinner than the original one for my filter by about 1/2 an inch but half the cost.

will this replace the cc1500em hayward filter ?

I don’t remember my old filters numbers, but if your filter looks like this and the dimensions are the same, then yes. These are actually made better than my original and the first replacement.

I need 9” x 23.25”. Which one would this be?
