I didn't realize how bad this copy of this book was until I found online a full and complete pdf of the book, which includes a very lengthy prelude by Blavatsky to introduce aspects of what she will be discussing, the names/descriptions for each chapter and what had been easier to read formatting that is completely missing in this copy. Before you buy this I suggest you consider one of the somewhat more expensive options that actually contains the complete text, the correct formatting, etc. In hind-sight I wish I'd known better. I'm about 1/3rd of the way in and am now buying a better copy.

The content of the book is amazing. Helena Blavatsky is brilliant! That being said, this book is a pain in the backside! It is large and floppy, 534 pages, and the writing starts all the way at the top of the page and the font is tiny. Forget about sitting in bed to read this, not possible. Bottom line is buy this book in hard copy if you can. Yes it will be bigger, and possibly in two volumes, but at least it will be reader friendly!

Low quality pages and odd formatting. For the price, it is a decent pick up.As for theosophy - It is a new ageism movement so be careful. Blavatzky gives very little in terms of lessons but moreso details her gripes with various philosophical schools of study. There are far better Theosophical intellectuals like Rudolf Steiner that I would recommend. My rating is based on the extremely low quality formatting of the book. It arrived with 0 damages.

Havent read yet but I know Albert Einstein studied this book his whole entire life inside and out and I cant wait to read it. I already know its gonna be one of my favs. A classic fo sho. Especially since the author has been sparking my interest in terms of studying my spiritual teachers. Shes a good one. No edgar cayce. I dunno. I guess we will see. I have high expectations.

Amazing book. Get a notebook to take notes along reading this one. Not a quick read. Read a page and fall into trance. Yay!!! All I wanted!!!

Good information for Truth seekers & open-minded students of philosophy.

Another wonderful book by one of the most unique women in history. This is her classic, and it came in great condition. Well packed.

Essential work if Blavatsky. Recommended!

Hi there. This is a great book. The problem with it is the format. Its large which is awesome. Unfortunately there is no actual formatting of the book. It isn't justified, and the paragraphs are not spaced properly and the margins are too wide. It is literally a recompiled EPUB which isn't made for print. There are also no illustrations. I will be returning mine for an actual book that is ment to be a book. I can find a copy of this file for free and print it for less.

There are some good ideas but even at only page 28 the unrelenting and grossly excessive verbosity is so so frustrating and fatiguing!More words do not equal more quality!
