Product description A Japanese solid consommé-style stock made with meat and aromatic vegetable extracts. It dissolves into soups, stews, curries and other cooked dishes, adding a balanced savoury base. Imported from Japan. Ingredients Salt (manufactured in Japan), lactose (MILK), sugar, edible processed oils and fats, vegetable and meat extracts (Chinese cabbage extract, chicken extract, fermented yeast extract seasoning, beef extract, edible oils and fats), spices, vegetable extract, SOY sauce, fructose, yeast extract/seasoning (amino acids, etc.), modified starch, acidifier (some ingredients contain WHEAT, MILK, beef, SOY beans and chicken). Directions Add 1 cup of boiling water to the pouch. Seal and let it stand for 2 minutes. Then, tear off the top of the pouch and heat the contents in a pot over medium heat until hot. Do not boil. Season to taste and enjoy. Safety Warning Contains WHEAT, MILK and SOY. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Take care when handling hot water or hot dishes. Review: Cubes hard to crumble - The taste of these is great, and I'm definitely a fan. But the cubes are rock hard, making them difficult to crumble, if you only need half a cube. So since my first purchase, I've been going for this same product available in granule form, either in a jar or in small sachets, which are also available online. I didn't receive the original shipment, assumably because of covid restrictions on mail. Samurai Japan were really helpful in sending me a second one and had a great response time.
