direct fit for the Toro CC 2400 or 2450?
I was hesitant about purchasing this since the reviews cited problems with this not fitting and comments about it not being the actual magneto displayed on Amazon. True it was as depicted in the seller image. Nonetheless, I thought I would give it a try given the Amazon return policy. It takes some work to disassemble the snowblower model Toro CC 2400 or 2450 (the sticker is gone). But the fit was perfect for the model I had. A word of caution, the vane governor linkage came undone during installation. I was unable to find pictures of the linkage I had and had to wing it...successfully. Therefore, I highly recommend taking pics of the carb area, just in case. After reassembling the machine...two pulls...Houston we are all systems go for snow.

It worked but not without modification
The fitment was less then perfect, to get the thing mounted and adjusted it was necessary to elongate the mounting holes with a die grinder. The metal is not exactly soft so this took some time and trial&error for fitment / adjustment. The only good news is once fitted I do get good spark and my 40+ year old Lawnboy continues on.

Not what’s on the picture, but with a few modifications the 40year old Lawn-Boy is running.

Appearance may look different however it functions perfectly.
This product brought new life to my old Toro 2450 snowblower. My only suggestion is that the seller include a little note in the box noting that the new ignition coil might look slightly different from the original however it will still function perfectly.At first glance when I opened my box and compared the new to the old I was thinking "shoot, I ordered the wrong product."

Exact Fit, But Doesn't Match The Picture
It’s not what’s pictured, however it fits exactly and works perfectly. Toro 2450 Snowthrower (Model 38413 / SN 000000759)5-Stars because it's the part needed and works as intended. The part shown is the old design that's no longer produced. The new design looks more like all the other standard magnetos.Please update the photo TEW Inc.

Read reviews 1st buyer beware
Was all set to return this ignition cool because it was not as pictured but with some modification husband got it to work! We Should get what was pictured.. it was pictured exactly as matching my part needed but that's not what I got! Buyer Beware !!!!!
