Held up well to high altitude sun
Good tire for neighborhood rides with occasional trails. No cracking or dry rot after a full summer of high altitude sun. Price is better than the big blue store.

Good quality, install takes patience!
I bought these to replace the dry rotted tires on my Schwinn Trailway hybrid with the Swift Arriv deep-V rims. The size is the same as original 700 x 38C (28"x1-5/8"x1-1/2").The install was challenging because the tires are shipped half- inverted in a box. I had to shape them & use zip ties & let them sit for 24hrs before installing. Even then, mounting was a chore. Once installed I used zip ties again & only filled them to 20-30psi before waiting overnite to finally cut ties & inflate to recommend 50-75psi. Doing this & using new rim tape will hopefully prevent 'pinch flats'.On a side note, I also used new rim tape, Kenda 26"x 12mm wide for my particular rim style (narrow w/recessed nipple) The smaller diameter fit snug but doesn't allow it to slip around once installed.Time will tell how long they last but, the tread design is more suited to my style of street riding.

Much tougher, easy to install, also some extra rolling resistance
I just installed these and did a short test ride. I doubt I could do better than this tire, and it is as advertised, but it still has a minor drawback of a little extra rolling resistance which is minimal compared to a headwind. The side walls of this tire are at least twice as thick as those of the stock tires that came with my bike. The thin tires pass between the brakes without having to loosen the brakes, if the air is let out. This is a perk over mountain bikes. The tread is at least 20% thicker, and rubber and armor below the tread is about twice as thick and presumably much stronger. It took me 5 minutes to take the front wheel of the bike, remove the old tire, put the new one in, and put the new tire on the bike and inflate it. No tools are required. You do not need a screwdriver or tire level to remove or install a tire. Your fingers should easily and safely be able to do the transfer. It arrived in an amazingly small box, but I unrolled it, bent some folds opposite way to release them a bit, and put it on. No issues. I can't see the bends now that the air pressure is in there. I did have to figure out a technique of getting them on: start at one point, work your way in both directions to the other side until it is too tight to proceed, then do the other side wall, then finish both of them off. Otherwise it seems to stay loose.I considered solid rubber tires, but those have more rolling resistance and cost more and are heavier and harder to put on. Slime inner tubes only work if the puncture is small. Heavy duty inner tubes are not completely effective and can also add rolling resistance. I once owned Armadillo tires and still got them shredded by broken glass, so no tire is completely safe. These Shwinns were affordable and the only armored tires on Amazon. If you are headed to work at the last minute, it is better to have a bit more predictable rolling resistance than an unpredictable flat that costs you at least 5 minutes. If you are going across the country, you can ride in better parts of the road, and will need less rolling resistance. Over time, a 5 minute flat here and there will be far less than the speed loss of heavier tires, and 5 minutes won't make you late everywhere. These tires are best for commuters, and maybe people who ride were there are tons of thorns. In my town, the street sweeper sweeps all the road debre into the bike lane and leaves it there.

very difficult to mount on rim
These tires are packaged flat and rolled up for compact shipping. They are very difficult to re-shape to fit and stay on the wheel rim. The tires seem to work well, once I wrestled them into submission! Perhaps others who found them easy to install could offer advice.

Really helped reduce road friction on my son's bike.
Purchased a set of these to replace the general off-road/on-road tires that came with my 8-year old's bike. We live in a big city and primarily ride on pavement. These tires really helped reduce drag and my son found it a lot easier to pedal after the switch. They have a pretty good looking tread design too.
