Nice water-based acrylic paint set
I got this mostly because it included silver, I was finishing a 3/4" scale flying model (yes you can use acrylics on tissue, just be careful) of an experimental Navy monoplane fighter from the 1930's and my jar of Model Master Aluminum was running low. There were other colors I will have a use for on other projects and it was less costly than just buying a single bottle, so...Vallejo paints are good quality, but they're not as opaque as they could be. Also if moisture or handling will be an issue you'll want to clear-coat; I used Model Master acrylic with an airbrush and am thinking of trying Minwax Polycrylic varnish.

A solid assortment.
This is a fine assortment of colors at a fine price. If you buy this set, you absolutely will get some mileage out of it, but it's worth taking a closer look at the colors you're actually receiving to make sure it it's really what you want. Regardless, it's a good deal.

Excellent beginner paint set!!!
Great paint set for the price. My one very small criticism would be if they included an actual red instead of a reddish orange. But still very good!!!

Perfect! I painted my space marines with tiger stripes and the detail I could achieve was excellent. And thinning it with water for fine details did not sacrifice pigment!! Just beautiful.
