This is the best knife sharpening tool I've ever used. This is my second one. They last a very long time. Word of advice: don't push down too hard when sharpening; you really only need the very edge of your blade to make contact.

The best hand knife sharpener I have ever used.I like my knives razor sharp. I test knives by shaving with them and this sharpener makes it easy. Arm hair not face :)

Initially disappointed but that was the poor state of my knives and lack of patience and once I'd used it a few times the knives were like new. Now a couple of strokes and they stay brilliantly sharp, with no detrimental effects to the knife. Very easy to use. Excellent product
