ACDelco Gold 336-1007 Starter, Remanufactured (Renewed)

Starter work for me I had ordered one from a different place and it didn't work and return it was almost as much as the starter so this is a good deal not only the fact that it worked but the confidence in the fact that if I had to return it. it was good purchase.

I like the fitment, even fit better than my local auto parts remanned starter. Easy to install, good quality, functions great. Best value for the money with timely delivery. Good quality wire stud. I will buy again when needed.

One of my friends has a fifty year old truck, a BIG Ford truck and his truck had a problem, it's starter was shot. Out of curiosity only, I opened a tab on my browser for Amazon, told the app a little about the truck and it didn't hesitate to return a product that would resolve his starter problem. We've learned from experience that many products that claim to fit that model of beast simply do not. It's strange three bolt attachment is a rarity and seldom seen; we were both taken aback by the product on my display, but the best part ever was that it was made by General Motors...something we never expected but were glad Amazon found. The starter installs easily in the cavernous hooded space and it has what it takes to start even the most grumpy of motors, his old truck's included. The fit was perfect as we had expected given the online pictures on Amazon. It definitely works and for the money, its worth every cent. We feared that rebuilding the old starter was about to be in the cards and thankfully it wasn't. How long it will last remains to be seen. It's longevity will be directly related to whether or not my friend lets his lady friend ever drive it again. But hey, if she kills another starter, she will become an ACE!

I have a 1970 Mustang. This starter was installed many months ago and has worked well. The problem is that it’s not the same as the original and if the steering wheel is turned too far to the right the idler arm hits the starter at the positive post. This causes it to short out so the car won’t start. If the wheels are straight, there’s no problem. Rather than worrying about this, my husband will replace the motor with one that is exactly like the original.

First one I ordered arrived dead....replaced it and that one barely lasted a year (on a classic car...garage kept....never wet...maybe started 15 times)... Then it too died....replacement arrived dead....I give up on this crap.
