I use the pot strictly to make iced tea, so it gets a stain around the inside. Super easy to throw in the dishwasher to get clean. It works perfectly for me and the handles on the side are strong and the right size. My only note is that there are "bumps" inside the pot where the handles are solidly attached. No way around that, you have to screw the handles in, but it can take a little effort to clean around those bumps when hand washing. Not a problem, just needed to point it out. HomiChef products are safer to use and will last a lifetime if cared for properly. Thanks** A: No it does not have a canning rack. It is an 8 Qt pot. It seems to be a very nice pot, but you might consider a larger one which they have under their commercial brand. It's big enough but not too big, so it can be used in a new household for just about anything, from warming leftovers to boiling pasta. The stainless steel is flawless now, heavy enough to impress me at this price. Whether or not it scratches or gets minor spots is not important to me, since I've cooked for many years with stainless steel and I love it despite the fact that it doesn't always and forever remain mirror-bright. Haven't had a chance to cook with it yet, but it seems very well made--especially for this price!
