Great Hay
I've just received my order, so I will probably come back and update in a few weeks, but so far this is great hay! It is VERY green. I could barely see any brown strands. The hay really does look like in the pictures! It's not dusty at all, which is great as I every time I ordered Oxbow hay it was incredibly dusty. As for how my rabbit likes it, she enjoys it so far but she doesn't go crazy for it. She started munching the little pieces that fell when I was transfering it to my storage bin, but I think she enjoys softer Orchard Grass more (what I assume is usually second cut) and this seems like first-cut so there are some harder strands. However there's also a good amount of seed heads that she is enjoying digging for. :) I'm pretty impressed with the customer service too. While it did take a while to arrive (about a week as opposed to Small Pet Selects two day shipping) it was packaged very well, so even if it had rained they hay most likely would have stayed dry. And I got a few emails inquiring about whether my order had arrived or not. Overall, I am very pleased, so all that's left to do is see if my bun will eat enough of it!

Picky rabbit loves hay again !
I have a 7 year old rabbit, who has never been fond of hay. As youโd wouldnโt be surprised, he would prefer pellets and treats. I noticed he just stopped eating his Kaytee Timothy hay all together, and I was nervous because rabbits main source of nutrition is HAY! I did some research and found this product and hoped it would be a solution. I am pleased to say, that my rabbit eats it up almost immediately. He loves it! It looks and smells fresh. Itโs bright green in color, and barely has any dust. My bun is happy and healthy and this has really turned his eating habits around. My picky rabbit is no longer picky. He loves his hay and so do I !

If you have lots of rabbits-- GET THIS. GET THIS NOW.
BLESS YOU AND YOUR COMPANY. I usually feel by three little rex rabbits organic hay, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to find in bulk. (Buying small containers of organic hay is good and all, but the amount I need for my boys usually is around 15oz a day!!!) Finding websites that ship large orders of Oxbow is a nightmare. I have an order of 12 coming in, from TWO WEEKS AGO, that still hasn't arrived, and I was running out of hay! I ordered an emergency order of Rabbit Hole Hay because of the Bunnyfest in San Jose, CA this year; I noticed that they had a stand in the festival, and a lot of people loved it! I thought-- why not? Now, I may never by another company's hay again! It's so green!!!! It's full of crunchy pieces and soft green and seedbeds too! I placed FOUR different brands of hay I have been giving them throughout the last month or so (waiting for new orders of my organics to come in)-- in different piles of a row in their cage... and they originally went for their Oxbow, but when one found the Rabbit Hole Hay and started chowing down, the other two ZOOMED over, and they consumed it all! I stood there in shock. I. Am. So. Relieved. Finally!!! A hay I can feed my darlings, that I am happy to feed, from a good and caring company, that they love to eat-- THAT COMES IN LARGE QUANTITIES. THANK YOU RABBIT HOLE HAY. You have ensnared a new consumer. I LOVE you guys!

Excellent hay!
I have 3 guinea pigs and 2 chinchillas, and am always on the lookout for quality hay, as I'm aware it should be 80% of their diet to keep their teeth and GI tracts healthy. I've had some bad luck with bad hay (brown, stale, hard, unappetizing). Some places I had to order too much at too high a shipping cost, and it took nearly a week for delivery. In any case, a forum recommended I try Rabbit Hole. I got the orchard grass, which was delivered promptly. It was green, fresh, fragrant, and all 5 animals loved it. I already see an improvement in their digestive health. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

mostly clippings
Picky rabbit enjoyed this orchard grass (does not typically like orchard grass)--it was green and soft. This small bag however was primarily composed of clippings.

My buns love, love
My buns love, love, love this hay. It's probably their favorite now, which I'm okay with. Clean cut, no weird debris or twigs like I've gotten in other brands. And it's pure orchard grass! That seems like a weird statement but my wife is crazy allergic to Timothy hay and the amount of times "orchard grass" has been unusable because it's been mixed with something else is crazy! Not the most inexpensive hay but definitely worth the additional few dollars investment.

Nothing but the best!
My senior bunny, Tank, absolutely loves this hay. I fill it up for him twice a day. At night when I'm grinding coffee for the morning. The sound of the grinder is like a dinner bell and he knows two things are coming: first, his senior vitamins; and second, a heaping handful of this hay. His ritual is to eat his vitamins, and rush down to his bin and munch away contently. He enjoys this hay more than any other I've given him. The cut is great and has a good ratio of leaf to stem, and it's so incredibly fresh I could smell it outside the box when it arrived! If you love your bunny, skip the mass consumption hay and give this a shot โโ you won't regret it.

Worth every penny
This is fantastic and worth the cost. My rabbit did not eat hay and I knew he needed it. So, I tried all types of hay hoping to find something. I decided to try Rabbit Hole and he eats it and is thriving! I highly recommend it. It ends up not being as expensive as you think, too. It lasts a long time. One box lasted one rabbit 8 months. Iโm happy and so is my little Samson bunny!
