Bunnies and Buddhism
A truly wonderful read. Especially good for an introduction to Buddhism and enlightenment without all the mumbo jumbo and with rabbits. What else could one ask for. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I love this book
I'm thinking of gifting this book to someone going through chemo, radio, ad a mastectomy even though I have no idea what her views on Buddhism may be. I took this out on a library loan and then bought a copy to keep in my bathroom for regular reminders of what is important and what is not. This is a volume that everyone might keep on hand to help carry on through the little things and big things that we struggle through in life.

Enlightening! Always with me.
I've learned so much from dealing with my own house rabbits, and from rescued rabbits I fostered. Rabbits are not distracted by words. They react to my demeanor and my actions. They don't debate the righteousness of my position. If I am sincere, warm and dependable; I earn their trust and share their lives. If I rule by force and punishments rather than encouragement and rewards, or act inconsistently; they are wary and distant. Applying these lessons to my human relationships has made me a happier person with better interpersonal skills. Now, Bunny Buddhism takes that a step further: achieving Bunniness. Nuggets of Buddhist philosophy morphed into the symbol system of bunnies creates valuable insight which is immediately understandable and useable. With this insight, I make more informed (better) choices in my life. This lighthearted book, illustrated simply with charming line drawings of wise bunnies, is child-friendly. The bunny wisdom is helpful for children as they grow and struggle with life's challenges. (Ex: A bunny hopping in circles will continue to hop in circles until she changes direction.)I keep the Kindle version loaded on my smartphone. It is always with me for time in waiting rooms or idle moments. I highly recommend Bunny Buddhism for yourself as well as for gift-giving.May you attain Bunniness.

Enlightening life philosophy framed by the sweetness of a world of bunnies
Krista Lester may not be a philosophy professor or renowned guru/monk, but her book is a wonderful collection of simple and sweet sayings full of understanding and wisdom about love, self-discovery, human relationships, and life perspective explained in a very approachable way. The world of Bunny Buddhism is populated by bunnies, whose thoughts are guided by hops and the desire for carrot. Yet it is easy to translate the ponderings into our world, and see how attaining bunniness can bring us love, inner peace, and contentment.Even if you're not into Buddhism or life philosophy, you will still find the book a delightful read with its cuteness, lighthearted humor, and sweet illustrations. You can plow through it all quickly, or force yourself to read one quote or one page a day like I do, so you can truly savor all that the bunnies offer and appreciate their wisdom.Recommended for bunny lovers for sure but it's truly a great book for anyone. Love it!

Best religious book since the New Testament
I can hardly imagine anyone who hasn't read Bunny Buddhism will believe this, but Bunny Buddhism is truly the best religious book since the New Testament (or possibly since the Koran, which I haven't read). Over the last 45 years I've read a number of books about Buddhism, but none has been clearer or more to the point than Bunny Buddhism. They have only been explications of something that everyone agrees can't really be explained.I was introduced to the book by a severely dyslexic friend, who likes it because he CAN read it. This is good. But Bunny Buddhism is so simple, so clear and direct, that it simply IS the essence of Buddhism:"Much time is lost in waiting for another bunny to express what we already know."Or, "The bunny who hops a path different from mine is not necessarily lost."Thank you, Krista Lester!

Bunnies bringing wisdom. What more can you ask for?
I picked up the book last year, immediately pre-ordering it when I saw news of it on their Twitter page. It’s a quick, casual read, but not meant to consume all in one sitting. I feel it’s best enjoyed in small doses :) Read a couple every day or every week, maybe with a cup of tea in hand, and reflect.Accompanying the sage quotes are many adorable illustrations of bunnies. They get a little repetitive, though. Maybe in volume 2, if there is one planned (I certainly hope so!) we’ll get more varied bunny art, or even pictures of real bunnies much like the pics on their Instagram. So, if you love bunnies and need a fun, helpful guide for your path to enlightenment, this is a nice book to add to your shelf. Or gift to a loved one, as I did.

So much kindhearted fun!
I feel a quiet smile spread over my face every time I page through this playful book. The text replaces ideas of mindfulness, presence, enlightenment, emptiness, and joy (to name a few) with one simple word: bunniness. It sounds so silly, but it really works and it'll give you a chuckle. I find that reading "bunniness" in the place of some of the aforementioned, somewhat heavy terms creates a lightheartedness that leaves me open and receptive to whatever adage is being presented. In other words, this book is just a whole lot of fun. It definitely brings some cheer and the sillies, and it seems like the author had so much fun making it.

Inspiration in the form of cute!
This is a great little book. Each page has its own "Bunny Buddhism" quote and the entirety of the book is flat out adorable. This is not a full, in-depth look at Buddhism, but rather a fun little way to help you understand some common concepts of Buddhism in the form of bunny happiness. Doesn't matter if you're Buddhist or not, the cute little quotes are for people from all beliefs and backgrounds.Overall, it's a great little pick-me-up that I've thoroughly enjoyed.

Carrots of wisdom
How could you go wrong with a book with such pearls of wisdom such as:"One must hop towards the light rather than sit in shadow and wonder why it is dark"and"The grass will grow in spring whether I am there to munch it"and"A potato is a potato no matter how much I want it to be a carrot"If you're familiar with the tenants of Buddism, this is that restated in the language of rabbits
