This is an excellent set of small woodscrews. I tested a few of them by tightening them down into softwood via a 2.5 washer. I used a firm reasonable tightening force for that size screw, and none of them broke. The catches on the lid were extremely tight (which is what you want I suppose) and I had to prise the catches open with a screwdriver for the first couple of times. I am very pleased with these.

These do look decent enough, fairly consistent in finish.First job I had for these was to fit four small brass hinges (24 screws), I snapped 5 in the process, and this was into pre-drilled holes in 12mm thick birch ply. I work with wood every day, and this is not the norm in my experience.I moved the hinges, re-drilled and took extra care on the second attempt, all is fine, fixed firm and looks good.I was at two minds whether to give these three or four stars, but went for four, because they are cheap enough, look fine and do the job, it also mentions that they are made of iron in the description which I missed when I bought them, so thats my fault for assuming they were solid brass.They'll do the job if you need some small screws, just make sure and pre drill properly and tighten carefully.

Item arrived with everything completely mixed together. The screws were literally mixed with dirt and debris. It looks like this was delivered in the back of a cement mixer.I Initiated a return immediately based on my initial theory that somebody had previously opened, mixed up, and returned this before it was re-sent to me. However, after having received a replacement and another box of tiny nails from a completely different seller that all arrived in a similar condition, I now have to assume that it is simply a packaging issue.Nevertheless, expecting the buyer to spend a great deal of time and patience to try to sort all of these screws back into their original compartments is unacceptable. Somebody needs to look into a way to secure these better during transit and possibly check with the manufacturer to figure out why there is so much debris mixed up in there.On the bright side, they do seem to be decent quality screws and nails. The few that I have used so far have been driven/hammered into several species of hardwood without any of them breaking or stripping, so they at least deserve some credit for that.2/5 stars - Would not recommend unless the packaging issues get resolved.

I just needed two little tiny nails but could not find them anywhere. I had to order this whole box but so glad I did. Turns out over time I have needed more little nails and now I have them for anything I will ever need. This will last a lifetime and is very handy to have around.

I orders some 1" brass hinges that were very good quality but they didn't come with any screws. There were many reviews of these hinges that loved the hinges but couldn't find screws except in very large quantities. This is a good buy because you get a verity of screws for a good price.
