For men and women with dry, flaky scalp.
I have eczema, which also spills into having a dry scalp. This product has made shampooing yet another hydrating step! I placed some detox before my shampoo and a little bit after, and my scalp could BREATHE!!! I previously had braids in since january and this really was able to bring my hair back to life in preparation for my next style. I liked it so much i gave it to my boyfriend to try as he has longer hair and gets it braided a lot his stylist uses A LOt of gel in his styles so this was perfect. his scalp has so much buildup so i told him to ask his stylist to prepoo his hair with the product and he said he is so happy that i put him on !! His scalp was so clean and is less sore! He also has some thinner spots so over time the vitamin e and nutrients should help free up the pores and give his hair the nutrients it needs to flourish. Definitely a staple!

Easy usage and works!
Loved this product, super easy to use felt nice massaging into the scalp and did the job. My previously itchy scalp has mellowed out as I’ve been using this my past three washes (I wash my hair once a week). I also have not seen any dryness so win win. Totally recommend!

A definite must have...
I have been using Cold Processed Scalp Detox and Cold Processed Scalp Renew for 3 weeks and I couldn't be happier with the results. My hair looks and feels AMAZING! I had issues with my scalp feeling dry and tight before I found out about these fantastic products from Act+Acre . I use them once a week and it's so easy to use, I apply it before I do my nightly skincare routine. Just like a facial—for your scalp. This treatment gently exfoliates and stimulates blood flow, providing immediate relief to dry and inflamed scalp. We take care of our face and body why wouldn't we do the same for our scalp? I highly recommend getting yourself these products. Did I mention that they're cruelty-free, gluten-free, Vegan, free from Silicone, Paraben and sulphate free which means it's safe for hair that is chemically treated. ( this is my natural hair color ) * I saw some reviews saying it leaves thier hair oily or greasy, it's trial and error. Remember to shampoo and condition after treatment.

good but expensive
It is a good product but way too expensive. If I find something cheaper I will definitely switch

One of My Faves
I really focus on my scalp health knowing that the scalp ages six times faster than your face. I'm always in search of the cleanest products that will help gently cleanse and protect my scalp. I've used this scalp detox numerous times now on my self care Sundays, and I love it! It smells amazing and delicate so it's not over powering. It applies so easily, and is a great step to have right before giving yourself a scalp massage. I like to use this on my scalp, massage gently, let set 20 minutes and then put the conditioning hair mask on with a shower cap and set a timer. Then I move onto my other self care routines in the meantime. Once the 20 minutes is finished, I shower and wash my hair as usual. I love knowing that I'm using clean products to take care of my scalp like I do my skin! The only negative I have is I wish this was supplied in a glass bottle.

My scalp is relieved
I’ve been looking for some scalp care products since mine feels dry and irritated lately. I used this product combo every other day for a couple of weeks and you can see in my pictures that it’s less red and way less flaky than it originally was. I definitely feel the difference in using the products together. Using the bottle for the scalp serum was easy to apply drops of the product and massage into my scalp. I did it well in advance of washing my hair, then I washed it out in the shower. I used the hair mask and left it in for at least 5-10 minutes and my hair feels way less friable. I’m happy to have tried these products because my scalp and hair feel way better.

Felt like a chemical burn and made my hair shed more after second use
I have ALWAYS had issues with dandruff and having a dry scalp (especially on the crown of my head). My current hair washing routine: wash with head and shoulders, then wash again with olaplex. (H&S for scalp, olaplex for health of hair). I don’t like using head and shoulders (which has been my “go to” for over 20 years now) but am ALWAYS looking for alternatives because I don’t like how it makes my hair feel. Unfortunately everything I have tried ended up not working as well and back to H&S I had to go. So, thought I would give this a try. Used only my olaplex shampoo for a week and already had visible dandruff at my widows peak, so time to give this a try. Used it as directed the first week and didn’t really see much of a difference, but thought maybe it takes more then once (I did see a difference, just not much of one). Waited 10 days to use it again (says 1week, but I don’t want to risk my hair falling out in clumps on any new hair product, so I always give a bit more time). Second use, followed the instructions to a “T” and set my timer to know when to rinse out. Didn’t make it through the timer though. It started burning on the left side of my head and on the back of my head just over five minutes in. I noped out, rinsed it, washed it, washed it again to make sure I got it all out. For the next week I noticed a LOT more shedding then I normally had, as in I woulda run my hand through my hair and have 50 strands on my hand. This was every time I ran my hand through my hair for about five days before it finally tapered off. So yeah, this went in the garbage real quick. Back to H&S now and it’s been about three weeks since I last used this. I would definitely not even consider using this again, and would definitely file this item under “do not buy, for any reason”.
