Is great exactly what I was expecting I love it

I got this as a gift from my wife so it will not be returned BUT this is not a sturdy case. I suspect I could brake it open with my bare hands. It is better than nothing and will technically keep the contents locked up but I would not consider it for secure permanent storage.It is best used for transport from home to the range or some other case where the contents is in your position at all times.

Bought 25 of these for display salesman sample cases. the size was perfect for what we need and they seem to be more rugged than the aluminum cases we had experimented with. Will be buying these again.

This case seems good for general use and the build quality is mostly ok. It has a lot of nice features and will suit my needs with minor modifications. I knocked off some stars due to the locking mechanism and due to the case not really having much aluminum in its construction even though its listed as aluminum. With a couple of added latches it would feel more secure. It has wood and plastic in its main constuction and that is not bad. Overall its a nice case for the price

It's a shame when a case manufacturer decides to integrate a cheap combination lock on a nice case. The combo lock on this case has multiple problems: 1) the number wheels are spaced too closely together, so your finger will move the wheel next to the one you intend to move, 2) sometimes when you move one wheel, it will "catch" the adjacent wheel and move it too, and 3) the combo wheels do not have a "positive click" so you know when the number is centered properly. If you had to remove something from this case in a hurry, you would be in trouble as you are fidgeting to get the combo lock to release. Until the mfg upgrades the combo lock on this case with a quality lock that works properly, I would avoid it altogether.
