Daisy had a horrible life before the day she finally had the chance to run. She saved some money and took off with the beat up car that gave out in the middle of nowhere. Aiden stopped to help a stranded woman walking on the side of the road. Much tragedy later HEA happens, I loved it.

Ms. Sullivan did a wonderful job with this story in tackling a topic of abuse. The story line itself is good, the proofreading is horrible! I've noticed that seems to be the trend. Sad really 😥. The story has so much potential! A few spots could use clarification and the mystery wasn't solved. Yes there is plenty of steamy intimacy scenes, and the story ends on a happy note.

The stories are good, good characters, good chemistry between the characters and some hot sex. However, I agree with other reviewers. So many spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. You need a good proofreader. I would happily volunteer to do that for you.

It is so sad when a woman has to run from a man abusing her.But fate put Daisy exactly where she needed to be.If anyone deserved to find love it was Daisy.What a beautiful love story.

Shae Sullivan I can honestly say that you are now one of my favorite authors. This Cross Creek series is Awesome. I have been reading them back to back. Great series Still reading.

A good suspense filled story, with romance, a bit of a secret that should have told sooner, fires, shooting, and a big surprise! A good afternoon read.

Don’t purchase. This entire series needs to be proofread. I purchased as a series and it all got very repetitive, a bit disappointing.

Wonderful quick read with likable characters! Can't wait to read more of her work! But she definitely needs a proofreader! I definitely would've given her another star if not for the simple mistakes that could have been fixed with a good proff reader.

I read this in one sitting. There was tension, suspense and of course romance. The story just flowed, leaving you on the edge of your seat. I have bought more of her books due to this story.

A good book, enjoyed it immenselyDaisy has had a terrible life with her husband, he was abusive drunk and she needed to get away from him. She had saved some money , hidden away from him so she left in an old car. Only stopping when her car broke down. She ends up in Crooked Creek and meets 2 men. But she has to tell them she is married what will they do when she confesses all?
