Adjusts and cuts with quality

I was disappointed with the amount of tension achieved. The other issue I have is the tape left after using the cutter. Having witnessed severe injuries from the razor sharp cut I use flush cut pliers to trim them flush with the lock. This being said the tool is of good quality and as with all my Malco tools it will likely be with me a long time.

My only complaint with Malco is they are sometimes difficult to find and they don't offer a larger line of tools. Never had a bad Malco tool - not in 40 plus years of HVAC service.

I use zip tai gun all the time, because I work as a duct guy. Malko is the most convenient and durable

After spending much time researching various cable tie tensioning tools, I decided on this one. In my opinion, you will not find something better at this price point. Although many other tensioning tools tout the self-cutting feature, I for one thing a bonus of this tool is the absence of this feature. For starters, you can decide how tight you want the tie before cutting it. Moreover, a dull cutter does not render the tool useless like some other tensioners I have scrutinized. Finally, it's a shame that it is not shown anywhere in the product details, but this tensioner is MADE IN THE USA. Worth every penny.
