Saturn 95 Thermal Laminator Machine for Home or Office with Pouch Starter Kit, 9.5 inch, Fast Warm-Up, Jam-Free Design(5735801)

Used for laminating a bunch of photos. Very easy to use, expected some bubbling and other problems that I've seen from laminators in years past, but none of that appeared. Worked perfectly and fed easily every time. A bit more costly than some other brands, and worth it. I tried both 3 mil and 5 mil stock, and the 5 mil proved too thick for photos, 3 mil worked fine. Top quality machine, compact and easy to set up. Good stuff.

Seems good so far. Replaced a 15 year old laminator that was a workhorse for my preK so I'm hopeful for a good long life from a Fellowes. Technology has improved laminators, you can tell by the photo this one is much smaller and lighter. This one is for home but I could easily take this with me to school if I wanted. Purchased for the 12.5" size. Warms up fast which is a great feature. I do a LOT of laminating. So much easier than the old rolls of sticky laminate that you prayed would go on straight and not wrinkle. Any older teacher knows that frustration. If I get 5 years out of this one it will be well worth the cost. I spent half as much for a knockoff which offered the same size and speed but didn't seal well and I was past the return when it stopped working sealing well. Will update later but at this point I'd recommend. Edit: have been using it for a while now. Quick warm up, seals well 95% of the time. I thought it would be quicker. It takes about 49 seconds for a standard sheet to process through. A bit long when I have a stack to seal. Relatively quiet. Would still recommend it for home use.

This laminator is so easy to use! And it does a great job! Very straightforward. It is quick to warm up and recover, the indicator light lets you know if it is ready to feed the sheet through. I was doing extra heavy cardstock and it sealed almost to edge of the paper, which is something I had trouble with on a different brand in the past. This laminator is one I can use periodically and not have to go through the learning process all over again since it is very clear and easy to begin with! I would buy this again.

I just received this and have used it extensively to create various laminated gifts (of photos, flowers, other scanned images) for Christmas. So far it's working flawlessly. I like the wide feed tray insert because I was able to feed two images into it simultaneously, saving a great deal of time. It heats up quickly and accepts 3ml and 5ml laminate pouches. It worked very well with a generic brand of laminate pouches, saving money not having to purchase the name brand pouches. So far, so good. Hopefully it'll continue to work well for a long time.

As an educator, I have access to a free large laminating machine, but such is not available in the summer and it is frequently "broken," mostly because fellow educators don't follow directions when operating it. Nevertheless, it IS free and it double-side laminates with 1 mil thick lamination which is fine with me since my purpose for lamination is to protect the item from soiling via frequent handling. I sort of wish this machine would laminate below 3 mil, but, nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the finished product--and there are times when more rigidity is desired. I have done whole pages as well as multi-strips together and the lamination came out fine--see the examples in my two pictures below. The price is certainly right, as is the cost of a box of laminating pouches. If you have an 8.5" x 11" product, center it side-to-side and don't push it fully into the pouch there will be a consistent 1/4-inch rigid and clear edging around the product with rounded corners--a nice feature. Definitely no bubbles. Although the instructions say the product will come out warm or hot, I found it cool to the touch. I cut around the strips with both a school cutter and via the old fashioned way of sliding scissors. And, of course, the lamination process highlighted the colors. Update, 1-23-2018: I'm finding that the machine has started to put permanent vertical impressions in the laminated sheets. This may be created by the wheels that pull the product through the machine. I'm also noticing that the top of the pages are coming out wavy horizontally. I don't need perfection, but protection; so, I'm not overly bothered by this, but for someone who wants a near-perfect result, I would say this is not the machine to buy.

I have a small business I use this for and it is used almost daily. So far I have had no issues in the past month and I love it! It heats up super fast. I haven't had any wrinkling problems unless you let it sit in there too long once it's done and that is just on the corner. It will beep to remind you when it's done though so that's a plus. I've never used any other laminators but I'm definitely happy with this purchase! Update: After 5-6 months of use it started smoking so I turned it off and haven't used it again. I ordered something else because I don't know what happened. But this was also used daily so I definitely got my moneys worth it's just too bad it didn't last longer for me. Still did a great job laminating the entire time though.

It’s works good if you can deal with the noise but it definitely shouldn’t sound like that. I’ve had Fellowes products before and never had this problem but I guess I ended up getting a bad unit. I don’t have the original packaging so I can’t exchange it otherwise I would. I’m sure 99% of them are good I just ended up with one that might of gotten damaged in shipping or was faulty from factory. Just keep your boxing and make sure it doesn’t sound like this before you throw it out and get stuck with it.

The quality of this laminator is perfect for our size ministry. The adhesion is super strong and its priced fair.

Great qualtiy and WORKS great!! Qould buy again. It is my 2nd unit of this make. First one would still be working if i did not ruin it.

Un peu déçu de Fellowes Canada il manque de respect envers le Québec...il donne un coupon pour la chance de gagné $500.00 au Canada et les États-Unis mais pas le Québec et pourtant le Québec fait parti du Canada,..mais cela n'enlève pas la qualité de la machine. Great laminator. I have had this for over two years now. I use it for creating and laminating checklists. Great product. Has yet to fail me yet. I use the 5mm laminator packs. Perfect.

I am currently using this laminator for scrapbooking and I love it. It's really easy to use and honestly I've put materials beyond the 5 mm max (oops) : ) I would definitely recommend. The pages I am using are 12 by 12 -- so I have to by menu sized sheets of 12 by 18 and they work perfectly in the machine The opening is 13 I do believe. It's definitely handy and I'm glad I purchased this brand.
