Good Travel Stand for the Price
I love Hercules stands and have used them for over 20 years for my saxophones. I have a combo alto/soprano stand that I use normally, but wanted a lighter version for travel. This stand is vey compact and lightweight. That is why it gets 4 stars. The reason it didn't get 5 stars is that it doesn't fit in the bell of my alto sax (not entirely surprising, but still) and, more importantly, I have to situate my horn in the stand just right or my horn will roll to the side. It has not fallen out, but has given me a few scares. The keys on the horn will generally keep it in the stand if it rolls, but not a great sight to see or great on the horn if it sits that way for a period of time. Once I figured out how to situate the hon in the stand, I haven't had any more issues. I carry my horns onto the plane when I travel and don't have any issue with security bring these stands with me.

Compact and does the job, but a little finicky
This stand folds up very well and fits snugly in my Yamaha 875, but I can tell that this will be very dependent on your horn. I could foresee this stand not fitting in some horns if their dimensions vary but even a small amount. I also have to be sure the overlapping pieces are sitting just right so the stand folds small enough to fit in the bell. But it's handy to have a stand at the ready for rehearsals and gigs.I also have to be sure to set my horn in the stand just right or it might begin to rotate and possibly fall out, but his has more to do with the natural offset curve of my bell than with the stand itself. The rubber padding could be a little bit more "grabby" to hold better. If the odds are in your favor, it'll fit in your horn and be one less thing to lug around separate from your horn.

Doesn’t last long
I use this stand at every gig. It is easy to carry, lightweight, fits in my case. Will only last a one to two years before it starts to fall apart

Nice, compact stand - but may not fit in your saxophone bell
I like the stand. It’s well made and works as advertised, EXCEPT it does not fit inside the bell of my Yamaha 475. I assume this means it would not fit most Yamaha altos with the same bore size (32/52/62/82). It is small enough to fit in the accessory compartment of my Yamaha case, which works for me.

Great Little Stand (If you are careful)
This stand fits perfectly in the bell of my horn, and is easy to fold and unfold. On one occasion I put my saxophone on the stand without making sure it was secure and it rolled to the side, but luckily did not fall off! Just make sure you are careful when putting your horn down.

Fits in alto like a fitted glove
As advertised, stand fits within bell of horn and therefore takes up no space in the case. Very convenient, light, and stowable. It'll take time to see how durable it is.

Seems it will not fit all altos
While the stand is sturdy enough, it will not fit inside the bell of my Keilwerth SX90R alto. Unfortunately, the expectation of that fit was the key selling point.

Perfect
Exactly what I expected, super light weight, folds to fit inside the bell of my son's Yamaha Alto Sax, and is nice and sturdy when open. It is perfect for what we needed and I would recommend to anyone that needs a good little stand to fold away and take with you.
