I have 3 dumb fat cats and their ungrateful fluffy butts always throw litter outside their damn porcelain throne.When my packaged arrived I called all the cats, showed them the mat, and gave them a prep talk, "Listen you little sh*ts, you see this mat? RUB YOUR GRUBBY PAWS ON IT BEFORE YOU COME WALTZING INTO MY ROOM."At first they didn't get it, but after a while I see him finishing his business. Finally no more dumb litter places everywhere. Damn cats.

My kitties and I love love love these mats. Before having these mats, I used to have to sweep up the kitty area several times a day to keep the litter contained and out of the rest of our home. We have two rescue kitties, and our most recent one has an extra toe on each of his front paws, so his paws are extra big. That makes him a little clumsy and a little more messy than our other kitty. With this mat, I now just empty the mat every night before bed and only have to sweep once a week. These mats have freed up a lot of my time for other things. I highly recommend these mats. They are soft and look great. I am very happy with them.

LOVE IT! BUY IT, AND THANK ME LATER. There are the two mats in the package (rectangular, and a paw-print, mats) -- a great idea. Depending on your box-set up and cat's behavior, that extra paw-print shaped mat added beyond the regular sized mat is a cute "add-some-length" piece...thus less likelihood that you'll need to (1) buy a larger mat and then cut the mat short, (2) buy a lesser quality/value product, which I did "just in case" to compare the two brands (this and another). You could also use the paw print mat for a second box. The light color is exactly as pictured, and looks great (actually nearly invisible on my beige/light tile floor). The box is in my very small bathroom between toilet and wall (tight), but the mat(s) fit great. Litter is caught better than any other mat I've used (it helps that I also use an excellent litter) -- thus far less tracking. Finally, vacuums easily with the hand-vac -- the litter is just dark enough to see it is in the carpet but light enough to be naked to the non-cat-owner's eye. Great, great deal. Don't let a different $10 single mat sway you from this purchase for only, literally, a few dollars more. Highest ratings!

This product us excellent. My late cat, Cubby, passed away on August 31st at 8:31am. He was the eldest of three cats at 16. The other two cats, Lizzie and Rocky, are little more than one year, born March 17th, 2016 and April 18th, 2016, respectively. Needless to say, an aging senior cat and two kittens was quite messy. I had dust all throughout my home from even the best "low-dust, non-tracking" litters. I was constantly sweeping, mopping and dusting in vain. Once I got these mats, ooohhh la la, what a change. Even though they are very fair in hue, they remain sparkling clean. There is no litter and paw prints tracking throughout my humble abode. Before, friends would ask why my house obviously appeared to be overrun by cats. Now, no one even knows that my munchkins are in my house unless they peek out to show off their cuteness. I am no longer sweeping, mopping and dusting all day, but am enjoying play time that was previously always being interrupted due to the incessant need to clean litter dust. Thank you a million times over. Again, where are the other five stars this product deserves?

This works great for what it's supposed to: trap cat litter. So why the 4 stars? The product needs to be larger. It works for one of our cat pans, because the way the pan is positioned (It's an enclosed pan and faced sort of into a corner. The cats don't mind) there isn't much space for the cats to step out, so they *have* to step onto the mat and yes, it does a great job of capturing the litter. For an open pan, where the cat can exit on any side, this mat would need to be much bigger, or more purchased. The material it's made of it great - it's just the size that's an issue. Also - it's cute that it's shaped like a paw; however that slightly reduces the amount of material to capture litter. And, with litter capture every little bit helps. Despite those issues, the material does a great job so I would recommend. The neutral color is nice, too.

These litter mats do exactly what it says. Cat comes out of box and loose litter falls into mat. See, the mat is covered with these soft plastic curly thingys to aid in removing the litter from furry paws. The problem is, you can't get the litter out of the mat. I tried the vacuum. I shook it. I kicked it. I beat it with a broom. I even tried a power-washer. Nothing worked.So, I've repurposed it to the garden (curly thingy side down) to use when it's damp out so I don't get my knees wet. It's actually become quite useful to use for various chores.

I have bought so many rugs, mats etc. over the years to try to keep the litter from scattering all over my floors. This one actually works! I don't know why, I have had this type before and they weren't working. This one does! Now I'm not going to say that there is absolutely no litter scatter. I am saying that I can go days & days without needing to clean up all of the litter all over the room where the litter box is. I used to have to clean it every day - 2 at the most. We have 3 cats. It is a great size also. I lay it across the front. Since the box is against the wall on one side obviously the cats are not going to jump out in that direction so I start the matt just past the box opening on that wall side and let it extend across the front of the box and the opening past the box lengthwise because that is the side of the box that the door is leading out of that room. They always exit on an angle towards the door and it catches most of the litter. This is how I have always positioned the rugs and mats that I have purchased, but this one is really making a difference. I love it.

If you have a large cat, this isn't for you. However I have a small cat (2.5kg) and I put this in front of her littler tray. Catches all those stray bits of litter meaning I'm not constantly seeing it dragged across my house.

Good at holding cat little that falls but my cat who likes to scratch the side of the litter tray and anything its stood on instead of the stones. Managed to pull holes in the mat.I'd still buy it again but wish they would last a bit longerGreat for food or water bowl.

I read lots of reviews before I buy an item and this time I must agree that the mats had a very strong not very pleasant smell once I opened the packaging. Following some people advice I washed them. It didn't change the smell of them. Luckily after a few days the smell disappear, so I can gladly recommend to buy it.

ALTERING MY REVIEW NOW MY KITTEN IS BIGGER!......This really worked when my kitten was tiny BUT now he has grown, he just steps over the mat and I now have litter all over the floor. He even walks litter on his paws in to other rooms.
