10x14 Madison Cedar Pergola with Removable Snap-on Sunshade, Timber Gray Wood Stain

I was looking for a kit rather than cutting pressure treated lumber and taking several days of work. This kit met my needs and looked much better than i would have built on my own. The kit arrived via UPS freight and was dropped off in my driveway. It comes on a huge pallet, with 3 long boxes. Weighs about 500 lbs. so get some help as each box is over 150 lbs each. The instructions for assembly were very good, and each piece of wood is labeled to help. Spend and hour just sorting the pieces and take an inventory of the parts before assembling. No parts were missing, but it was very helpful to have the parts sorted during assembly. The boards are very light, so i had my reservations on if it was going to be sturdy. Take their advice and predrill holes when they tell you so the wood doesn't split. My wife and i assembled the complete structure on top of our existing wood deck in about 12 hours. No modification of parts were necessary and everything fit well. This kit is better than expected and i'm look forward to seeing how resilient this will be through the winter months.

I’m a 40 year old single woman and I put this together by myself in about 9 hours. Wouldn’t have attempted if I didn’t have an 8’ ladder to prop the opposite end of the beams up while installing though. A good cordless drill and socket set is a must. There was very little predrilling required despite instructions stating otherwise. The wood screws were self tapping & only a handful of hex lag screws required me to predrill. No missing or damaged pieces and all pieces were clearly numbered for ease of identification. The instructions were thorough, almost all holes were factory predrilled, and all were in the correct spot. The anchors could be a bit beefier but as heavy and sturdy a this is, it probably won’t need much. It turned out beautiful and I am going to really like the extra sunshade cover that comes with it that isn’t an option with many others. Having a pergola this size custom built by a contractor would have cost me thousands more and I wouldn’t have the satisfaction of having done it myself!

It’s a very beautiful and functional pergola. The bar table is perfect for social occasions or personal relaxing time with a drink. I took out one star because there are some small crack along the screw holes. It’s sturdy though, hope it would last many years.

I wanted to have the pergola for 2 wonderful reasons. First, our daughter who is a nurse in Portland is coming home for a visit on her birthday weekend. Like many healthcare providers, she’s been in the frontline, taking care of people who are battling the Covid-19 pandemic. We have not seen her in over 2 years. We’ll be celebrating her birthday in our backyard. Second, we’re having a gender reveal party of our very first grandchild. The pergola is a fantastic addition to our backyard. It looks like it has always belong there. Thank you again!

This pagoda was within my budget, it acts as a shade/rest area on my pool deck, and its size fit well. It was of made from quality cedar wood and the parts are well engineered and fit together nicely. The assembly is involved with many parts that are all numbered along with well drawn out assembly instructions. Assembly required 3 days at 4hrs/day, but heck I'm retired and for me it was a joy

Absolutely perfect, I love my pergola, it came early and with very specific instructions. I spend 10 hours in total working in my pergola. The wood smells really good an I also bought some LED lights in Amazon. I don’t usually write reviews but I’m very happy with this product 👍🏻

good quality and precise wood cuts that fits togethe well. look great when assembled just like the product shows. Extra screws and nuts were included which makes it very nice and not to worry about running to the hardware store to get more. Delivery had issues though. Boxes ends appears to have been open and taped back with clear tape and one box end Was completely torn open as if someone wanted to look inside the boxs but nothing was missing.

I was excited and ready to build. A lot of holes should of been pre drilled already. The wood is very cheap, I have dealt with cardboard sturdier than this. It's a complete shame and a total waste. Drilling one of the screws in, straight! A chunk of wood completely broke off. It's a total joke.
