Caribbean Dreams Lemon (Fever) Grass Tea, 24 tea bags

The tea showed up quickly but there is some tea dust on the inside of the packaging. Caught me off guard at first. Both boxes that I got were the same, with a little loose tea inside. It seems that a little bit of the tea has a tendency to escape the bags during shipping. The bags are not individually wrapped, but the box is well sealed with a wrapper. Just don’t be surprised if your shows up with a little bit of loose tea dust on the inside of the wrapper. The tea taste great and works well in making Asian soups as well, like Tom Kha Gai. Save a trip to the store for fresh lemongrass.

Very tasty, tasty like the real fever grass that you would grown in your back yard back home.

First, the reviews under this product seem to be mixed up with other reviews for sorrel, ginger, etc. Anyone who has had lemon grass tea before, either in Thai or other restaurants, other countries, etc., knows what lemon grass tea smells and tastes like. Unfortunately, this package has absolutely no aroma, no taste, color etc. as lemon grass tea. I thought that the Jamaican origin would help in getting an authentic product but this "lemon grass" tea is just horrible!

I use lemon grass tea bags to make lemon grass soup. I place a few bags in the soup while I am cooking the broth along with the garlic, onion, ginger, veggies and greens like bok choy, spinach or kale. After soup is ready, I remove the tea bags. I plan to use this particular brand to make the soup, but have not done so yet. Something I have noticed about this brand that is different from the other brand I am used to buying from my grocer is that these leaves are finely ground, like powder fine......bit of powder comes loose in the box it came in. So I wonder how this will work with the soup, will the powder seep out. I love the flavor that lemon grass imparts on the soup, not sure that I want actual powder in the soup itself....but maybe it will be fine! My box does smell nicely of lemon grass, as it should. The other brands I have bought before have chopped lemon grass leaves, rather than powdered, and the leaves stay contained in the tea bag through out the process, for easy removal, which is what I prefer. Another method would to just put the leaves in whole and remove whole, but I cannot easily find whole lemon grass at every grocery where I live which is why I opt for the tea bags.

My mother said to me that she really missed the nights when she would sit at night with my father (when he was alive) in Puerto Rico and drink this Lemon Grass Tea. She stated that could not find it anywhere. I of course went straight to my old and reliable friend, Amazon. I ordered her a box to make sure that it was the same one she remembered. It arrived promptly and it totally surprised her. That night she made herself a cup and called me half crying that it was not only the exact same tea but that she was reminiscing about my father. She thank me and I thank Amazon. I will be ordering some more for her...........

This is the brand my grandma and all of her siblings (she’s one of 12) uses. The package was a bit dusty but all of the tea bags were in order. I’m in NC and I have never seen this in any store, definitely not the way I did I lived in NJ or how my grandma can pick it up in GA but it looks exactly the same outside of the rough packaging. The dust is definitely from the teabags - not dirt or anything. Tastes 100% as the same as the ones my grandma gives me when I visit. I’m an avid tea drinker so I will be back!

Sadly I didn't read reviews either bc overall reviews looked great. Not sure what to compare the Lemongrass tea to bc I've never had before but what I taste is a really great flavor. BUT...the packaging is terrible!! Came in a slightly quilted envelope. A cardboard box of tea cannot go into an envelope to ship...it will turn out like my video shows. Crushed and all over the place. Noticed complaints about packaging have been going on since at least 2017 and apparently seller doesn't care enough to make a change. Sad. Though good I will not buy again. And it took almost 2 weeks to get. Ridiculous! Close to 5 for taste and 1 for packaging averages to a 3.

Delightful flavor! Also, I discovered applying cooled the tea with a cotton ball to my psoriasis really helped my psoriasis. Who knew? It was experimental on my part because lemongrass oil is good for skin. So I tried the tea, and it worked also. It gently exfoliates and stops itching. That's how it worked as a topical for me, but really is delicious as a beverage, too!

Excellent lemon grass tea bags. The taste is very nice.

The taste is like if you have just taken off the leaves of the plant itself and of course the taste is nice and also helps you to calm down before bed time.
