DOBANI Chao Gong, 7" (18cm), Beater (WDB25)

If you're going for a weathered look and feel, this is the right gong for you. However, it wasn't exactly as it was pictured. Secondly, it said that it came with a beater, but I never received it. Kind of makes the whole purpose of getting a gong worthless if I don't have the right tool to hit it with. Also, it makes reviewing the sound very difficult because I don't have an accurate way to hear the sound because gongs typically require a special beater that isn't too soft, but not too firm.Overall, this was one of my worst purchases in the several years of using Amazon. I'm not sure who's fault it was, but I ended up returning it.

I bought this as a gift as an upgrade - I'd given a friend a triangle to ring upon completion of a task and she had tasks that deserved a richer sound - - SO I got her the GONG!I'd LOOKed at it but didn't want to submit a review until SHE told me how SHE liked it.WELL, she LOVES it!! I did not receive the full order the beater was missing.

This gong is small and compact. It's great for making a grand entrance into bars, restaurants, and nursing homes. This is also good for waking up that guest that has overstayed there welcome and corrective behavioral tool for small kids and animal training.

Loved the sound. I took the gong to a Lady Gaga concert at Roseland Ballroom. I met her at the end of the night and she took the gong with her. There are pictures of Lady Gaga, me and the gong on the internet. It was a good luck gong.Sincerley, Denise Hunter

I bought this for my son who lives on his own and he loved it. The sound is great even though it is not huge, but won't be dissappointed by the sound.
