I opted for the blue and black as I like a more "sublte" look. I think that for protection at school ( I am a college student who likes to type notes) and home that it will do me well. I am including the link to the installation video in this review as the case arrives with the instructions on how to install it INSIDE the case. So unless you know how to break it apart, you won't know how to install. The only reason I am giving the case four stars instead of five is because I have yet to really utilize it and because installation was somewhat of a pain. Also the video is labeled for installation of the case on an ipad mini but it is the same process for ipad. My son previous dropped his iPad 3 and broke the glass. After replacing the glass at Radioshack, I decided to buy him this case. The iPad is very well protected all corners, and I don't even need the screen protector because this case also comes with a protection film. I was worry that the film would reduce the effectiveness of the touch screen, but it wasn't. It is not water proof, but it will survive when my son accidentally spill a cup of milk on the case.
