This is my 2nd purchase. Bought 1st one for when my great-granddaughter sleeps at my house. This one's for her room at home.Nice night light. Keeps the room dim enough for her to easily fall asleep, and bright enough for her not to be afraid in the bedroom alone at night. She loves to set the color herself.

I got this for my daughter as a gift and she likes it. Once she got it charged, it was magical in her room. It looks really cool. This moon lamp is gorgeous! The colors are vibrant, and the remote makes it super easy to switch modes. It’s the perfect size for a nightstand and adds a cozy, magical glow to any room.It's chargeable with an included USB charger. you can just leave it plugged in on the included stand to sit upon a desktop or table. It takes awhile to charge but it holds the charge well enough. You'll know it needs to be recharged when the light show effects won't kick in and all you can get is the orb to do is change colors. You'll need to plug it in for a couple of hours before you can make the special effects work.It can change into many different colors. And the orb is designed to look kind of like a planet. Te stand works but it is small to hold the orb. I use glue to hold the stand together.This can be gifted to a child or adult if they are into planets. I did find this orb quite amusing initially, and it seems to be pretty much unbreakable.

I got this for my son for Christmas. Its a gorgeous light. It has a ton of different color/setting options. He uses it every night at bed time, its on a timer so it goes off automatically after some time. The colors are vibrant. A great gift idea!

Got this for my 12 year old granddaughter that actually pointed it out to me as a gift idea. And she likes it quite a bit. Then once she opened the gift and we got it charged, the adults in the room couldn't stop playing with it either. It looks really cool. And even though it doesn't do all that much, it does do more than I expected for the money.What it is, is a plastic, LED lighted, 3 inch orb that serves as both a nightlight and fun toy. And it's chargeable with an included USB charger. So you can sit anywhere and mess with it (we had a pretty good time checking it out outside at night). Or, you can just leave it plugged in on the included stand to sit upon a desktop or table. Then, you can control the light show with the included remote. Pretty nice. And once fully charged, which takes awhile, it holds the charge well enough. And know too that this is likely how it will be coming out of the box. You'll need to plug it in for a couple of hours before you can make the special effects work.What it does, is change into like 20 different colors. And the orb is designed to look kind of like a planet. It's really cool looking. Then you can affect a strobe effect, continuous color change effect, flashing effect, and a few other effects as well. The effects are very cool and in a dark room. They put on a little bit of a light show on the walls and ceiling. But, know that this is NOT designed as a projection lamp. It's just kind of a fringe benefit of the light show designed to take place inside the orb.Now the stand, the stand I don't like, but it does work. For me, it's just too small to effectively hold the orb. And putting that little stand together gave my spatially challenged mind fits. Then once I figured it out, it didn't want to stay in place. I ended up gluing it for her and that kept it together. But, I thought as well that this little wooden stand would be easily lost or broken, so I ended up constructing a better one, not a big deal to build really.Now is it worth the money? Well, she sure plays with it a lot and she does still leave it on all night. But as an adult, I think I'd get bored with it before very long and wouldn't want to pop for this kind of money. And, I don't use a night light anyway. But I do have to admit, I did find this orb quite amusing initially, and it seems to be pretty much unbreakable.Hope this helps you decide if it's for you or not.

Saw this on nurse's desk at doctor's office. She said it was a gift from Dr. Went right home and bought one. I love this thing. Wish the battery lasted a little longer, but it operates normally even with the charging cable plugged in.

This item is very cool, we love it! You can change colors and it has a timer to the light will go off automatically if you choose. Bright enough for just the right ambient light in an average size bedroom. Helps set a calming mood too.

Very cool lamp. The lamp itself is colored on the outside and then the added color lights make it a great moon lamp

Low price should have tipped me off. Cheaply made product, globe is plastic. Gotta admit looks great when it works. Tends to have a mind of its own. Certainly not as nice a product as I hoped. But gave it 3 stars because looks nice when it's on.
